Racer Feud Coming to iOS
Awhile back we posted about a Formula D clone which at the time was called Formula Feud. Well, it turns out Asmodee wasn't too happy about the similarity to Formula D, so developer Andre Lind went back to the drawing board. After a lot of work and art changes, Andre has submitted the new version of the game, Racer Feud, to Apple. The game is iOS Universal and will support asynchronous multiplayer with up to 10 racers in a game. It also supports iCloud sync, so you can play the same game on multiple devices. The game is FREE to download with ad-support and includes one track. Additional tracks and removal of the ads can be purchased via IAP. We'll let you know when the game is released on the App Store.
Tin Man Games Celebrates 30th Anniversary of Fighting Fantasy with Blood of the Zombies
In 1982 the first Fighting Fantasy book, The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, was released. Fighting Fantasy took the concept of the Choose Your Own Adventure books and turned them into a fully realized solo role-playing game. Tin Man Games is celebrating the 30th anniversay by releasing a new Fighting Fantasy game to both iOS and Android. The book, Blood of the Zombies, is written by one of the original FF authors, Ian Livingstone and places you squarely in zombie infested castle run by a mad scientist. The game is completely interactive with an automated Adventure Sheet and physics-based, 3D dice to roll. Unlike the paperback version of the book, the app offers two difficulty levels, things to unlock, and easter eggs like hidden artwork. Ian Livingstone wrote 80 new gruesome death endings to add more variety in the app as well. The app even allows you to 'cheat' (like we all did, right?) by allowing you to peek forward to see what happens. With this and the previous announcement of Steve Jackson's Sorcery! coming, it is a good time for Fighting Fantasy fans! Blood of the Zombies should be available on the App Store and Google Play tomorrow. They are also planning on bringing it to the Amazon Appstore and Nook in the future.

Sword of Fargoal 2 Hits Kickstarter Goal...Barely
Jeff McCord and the developers of Sword of Fargoal 2 made a huge push over the weekend and ended up surpassing their funding goal of $50,000 by $161! This means that the stretch goal of the board game wasn't met, but if SoF2 is anything like SoF1 we should have a great turn-based rogue-like coming our way sometime next year. Congrats to Jeff and his team for getting the funding!
New Digital TCG, Tridek-Creatures of Galena, Hits Kickstarter
Another trading card game for iOS is currently on Kickstarter. The game, Tridek-Creatures of Galena, consists of players controlling creatures that they pit against each other for sport on the distant planet of Galena. If they reach the funding goal, the game will be released for iOS with other platforms being presented as stretch goal options.
New Space-Themed MMO for iOS Comes to Kickstarter
Unlike what it's name suggests, Spaceopoly, is not Monopoly in space. It is, instead, a massive multiplayer online game for iOS in which players control planets and star systems with their friends. The game looks to be a galactic civilization builder where planets are terraformed and colonized, the galaxy is explored, etc. From the look of it, the base game is close to finished and they are raising funds to implement the multiplayer features and to get servers up and running. Get more details on Kickstarter.
