John Hill, an Appreciation
The wargaming world was shaken this week by the loss of John Hill, an early pioneer in the field and a huge proponent of the hobby. There are many many great retrospectives around the geek, this is just one take. It is great to take a moment to examine this and and his accomplishments.
In 2014 several celebrities, including Elizabeth Banks, came out as board game fans. Many in the community think this is a trend that will continue. Is this evidence of really coming out or more an overall shift in our culture as to what is acceptable and what is not? In nay case, it is great to be a part of this rapidly expanding hobby.
