My name is Ivan Tulovskiy and I’m from Russia.
I reside in Mocow.
I’m currently the head of the project Rightgames RBG SIA, which develop and produce board games in Russia for over 9 years.
In this blog I would like to introduce you to the Russian board game market, its history, participants and developers; with games created by Russian game designers.
I will post game reviews and links to their pages.
And I will write about our projects developed by Rightgames RBG SIA.
I’m fairly certain that at the moment you don’t know much about board games in Russia.
The only company to actually present Russia for the last few years on the international market would be the company Zvezda.
Its primary specialization are scale models and miniatures that require gluing and painting, these models are recognized worldwide, you may view their catalogue, in Russian, here:
Zvezda is also actively localizing European board games to the Russian market.
Thanks to its big dealership network, that they spent years building with their models, games licensed by the company can be seen in many cities through out Russia.
In 2010 the company released an English version of their miniature wargame World War II: Barbarossa 1941.
And also a board game developed by German Tihomirov a Russian game designer:
Terminator Salvation (Russian version)
To be continued…
Questions, opinions and comments are welcome.
