Overall more games and more games/day, but my average for 2016 so far is 0.81 games/day... I have a long way to go to get to 1.1

Played some games of Splendor at the beginning of the month. I've learned that I'm not very good... my daughter has won most of them.

I also finally got in some games of Zulus on the Ramparts! which I have enjoyed immensely. To me, it seems like it would be long and drawn-out game but that is certainly not true. It's tense and it feels like you are getting nowhere... and then the Night Fall event hits and you are halfway through.

I also played Hive with a friend of mine and I like it so much I got it for myself. I figured could teach the kids easier than Chess or Go (though I do want to teach them Go).

And thanks to the Solo Guild I've been playing a few games of Utopia Engine: Beast Hunter. It's insanely hard for me, but it's quick (especially how I play) and fun. I recently laminated a it and hope that and a dice app on my phone will help play on the run or "in emergencies". The same goes for Austerity which I've played a bit too, and haven't done well.

I also found a good deal at a big box store for DC Comics Deck-Building Game. The reviews are mixed but the 2 simple games with my son reveal is a lighter deck builder but it has some depth. I want to get a good solo game s or three in it before I really make up my mind.

2016 goals?

1 10/10 Challenge: Splendor at 8, Hive at 5, Austerity at 3. I think I'm in good shape

2 Increase h-index: still at 15, but I think it may switch this month.

3 I need to get my old games out that I play. It means I need to stop buying to so many.,....
