Edwin S. Lowe (E. S. Lowe) (1911 – February 23, 1986) was an American game entrepreneur and toymaker who created popular games like Yahtzee.
In December 1929, Edwin S. Lowe when working as a toy salesman decided to travel to Jacksonville, Georgia and met a group of people playing "Beano", more commonly known today as "Bingo".
In 1956, he bought rights from a Canadian couple who approached him with a concept of a game that they played on their yacht. Lowe eventually named the game to Yahtzee.
