From there his interests expanded to other RPG’s like Boot Hill and Star Frontiers, and then to Magic: The Gathering, and on to strategy board games. Brent Currently lives in Lake Geneva, WI and has one son. Brent also enjoys reading, history, and sports, and is a member of the Gaming Hoopla staff and a local Relay for Life Team.
Leo Agosta, known to his friends as Lee, has been an avid gamer for as many years as he can remember. He was introduced to Avalon Hill board games, such as Sink the Bismark, Jutland, and D-Day at a very early age. Although Lee loved all things military, he was also introduced to books such as The Lord of the Rings, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Tarzan, and John Carter of Mars. Lee heard about Dungeons and Dragons almost at its inception. He remembers a friend telling him about a game where you could become a wizard or fighter, explore dungeons, slay evil monsters, and find treasure. Needless to say Lee wanted to hear more about this. Lucky for Lee his friend knew some “older” high school kids who just happened to be named Skipper Williams and Ernie Gygax. Lee distinctly remembers buying Warriors of Mars, Boot Hill, and Dungeons and Dragons directly from Gary Gygax at his home….The rest is history and a gamer was born. Lee was a contributing author to People Places and Things: A Portal to Adventure. (Published by Mayfair Games in 1992.) He also co-wrote Things: A Chill Product (published by Mayfair Games in 1993).
