Hobby World is the first Russian publisher of European boardgames. The first game was published in 2001, and it was followed by the Russian edition of Catan in 2002. Carcassonne and Munchkin were published in the following years.
The brand 'Hobby World' was created in 2010 after the merger of Smart Ltd and Fantasy World, Inc., the two main competitors of the Russian boardgames market. In 2011 Hobby World was the largest Russian game publisher by turnover and print runs.
Among the own games of Hobby World are Viceroy, Spyfall, Hollywood, World of Tanks: Rush, MammuZ, Septikon: Uranium Wars, Five Seals of Magic, Berserk: Trading Card Game, Metro 2033, Swintus 2.0, and more.
Hobby World's portfolio consists of many famous titles, such as Catan, Carcassonne, Munchkin, Dominion, Ticket to Ride: Europe, Citadels, BANG!, Power Grid, Agricola, Zooloretto, Zombicide, etc.
Hobby World is the official Russian distributor of Wizards of the Coast, Games Workshop Ltd., Fantasy Flight Games, Days of Wonder, Cryptozoic Entertainment, UltraPRO, and other industry leaders.
Hobby World is based in Moscow, Russia and has a branch in Kiev, Ukraine.
