Fabryka Gier Historycznych (Historical Games Factory) is a Polish boardgame publishing company located in Lublin, started in 2012 as an off-shoot of an educational project that took place at the Institute of History at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. The success of the project has inspired its creators to bring their games to the commercial gaming market.
So far the company has released the following games:
W Zakładzie: Lubelski Lipiec '80 (available only in Polish)
Teomachia aka Theomachie / Theomachy (three separate editions: Polish, German, English - successfully funded on Kickstarter in cooperation with Petersen Games)

The Outcast Heroes (Polish and English)
Ark of Animals (Polish, German and English)
First to Fight (Polish and English)
Warsaw Rising Up 1945-1980 (Polish only)
In 2013 the company made their first appearance at the Essen fair, also participating a year after. In 2015 and 2016 Historical Games Factory was a part of the Polish Publishing League booth.
As of 2018 (and possibly earlier), Historical Games Factory has gone out of business.
A new imprint Lion Games has been set up for games of non-historical background, making a debut with Heroes in 2015 and announcing Nemesis.
