You are the Captain of a small Starship with a standard crew and basic weaponry. Will you use your crew's experience to improve your ships systems or to recruit more experienced crewman to you ship? Will you form diplomatic relationships or conquer civilizations in battle? Build your deck and explore the Star Trek universe!

User Play Summary:
Star Trek Deck Building Game: The Next Generation is a deck-building card game with three modes of play:

  • FREE for ALL (Exploration): Players explore the universe, interact with alien races, complete missions and experience the mysteries of space. The first player to achieve 400 Mission Points wins.
  • Cooperative (Borg Invasion): The wish to assimilate the entire universe! Players work together to defend against the Borg and defeat Locutus (successfully meet the Goal on the Locutus event).
  • Team Play (Klingon Civil War): Players team up, 2 vs. 2, amidst the Klingon Civil War. Each team must work together to gather Ally Starships that will help prove to the Arbiter that their team is most worthy of leading the Klingon Empire by successfully meeting the Arbiter Event card's goal when flipped).

Each mode of play has its own set up.

Contents: 300 cards (91 Character cards, 30 Starship cards, 72 Maneuver and Setup cards,2 Special cards, 25 Starfleet cards, 25 Klingon Civil War cards, 55 Borg Invasion cards, 5 20-sided dice to track ship damage, rulebook.
