This version shows signs of being rushed into English. The wording is all in English but the picture on the back of the box shows components completely in German

The player boards have a misprint in the description of the builder's privilege, saying "mayor" instead of "builder". Rio Grande Games sent corrected copies to some owners of "Puerto Rico", so it's possible to find 1st editions without this error.
