After a 3 week nomination period, and a 2 week voting period the results are in.
Inevitably, some games won't make the cut for any of the categories. With many pages of nominations some gems can get lost, and others simply get nominated too late to garner enough nominations to make the cut.
This category was created last year to give all the games that didn't make the cut elsewhere a place to shine.
Last year's Best of the Rest category included titles such as Wok Star, Dark Darker Darkest, Cargo Noir, and Dungeons & Dragons: Conquest of Nerath Board Game.
From this year's list, I personally find Next War: Korea and Empires of the Void the most intriguing, but admittedly, I haven't really looked at the others yet.
Without further ado here are the Best of the Rest of 2012 as determined in this most unofficial, informal and unscientific experiment.
