This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty, but as always, add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.

At Kiwanis with my wife, and I find a small backgammon board, looks like a smaller version of the one I found a couple weeks ago. I open it up, and all it had was 1 dice cup inside. Nothing else. Drat. I turn to my wife and say, "You know, when I told my Dad about that set I found last week, he was asking if it was going to be in his Christmas stocking. He likes that game so lets keep a look out for another one cause I'd really like to have my own set too." She points down at a bottom shelf that I had to bend down to see (I'm pretty tall) and says, "Like that one?" Would you believe it, it was a backgammon set just like the one I found last week.
100% complete. Once I got it home, It's actually bigger than the one I already had. Last week's, with the case closed it measures 16" x 10" (16" x 20" open). 1 1/8 inch checkers This new one is 18" x 11.5" (18" x 23" open) with 1 3/8" checkers. I'm going to give my dad this larger one.
Went out to a couple stores twice eacj today but it was REALLY REALLY dry. Passed on an old 60's toy today my gut toldme Ishould've grabbed...wish I would've it was a 'Rigi Electric 900e' electric car...looks like they average $50...oh well.
Feeling pretty low about that miss I went off to savers. Found this!!! but it was $6.99...that's a little steep, even for a HABA...BUT NOT ONE IN SHRINK!!! WOOT!
Now I am torn, play or sell....play or sell....god I love HABA
Today was a good thrifting day! First I found a hanging baggy with 3 good games in it for $1.61. This was the first that I saw in the bag. I already have it, and although it's complete, some of the cards are in rough shape. Effectively, 54 cents. Allentown Rd Value Village.
Then on the shelf with the board games, I spied the Asmodee logo and picked this up. New to me and a proud addition to my collection. I read the rules this evening and it looks like a very fun racing game. Only missing 1 of 20 pine tree meeples, and they're only used in an optional board so effectively complete. In fact, it was more than complete . . .
The box is pretty banged up as is the cover of one of the books. The game is UNPUNCHED, however 2 utility markers are missing. These are 2 of the b/w counters, one that says "mines" and one that says "M1." So these shouldn't be missed. $2.04 via CL.
