Looking for games that are not one player opposed against another. I would prefer games that do not even have a "game master" type player as well. Good solitaire games that could be played as a team would apply I suppose. I know, there may not be many out there like this, but that is the point of creating this list!
This designer/publisher (Family Pastimes/Jim Deacove) specializes in cooperative games for children. I'm not even sure that they make any other kind of game.
I haven't played any of them so can't speak for their quality, although I know there's a fan or two of Max here on BGG.

Full coop game. May not be the deepest game around, but it has euro type aspects in it, and is good light fun. The theme is strong, and it has a good horror feel when you play it.
Best of all, you can still find it on Ebay, sealed, for $5-10.
Early on this is a treasure hunt but once someone finds all three maps and reaches Kelly's Island to digs up the Pirate Admiral's treasure the game changes completely.
At that point the player with the treasure is looking to get it to safety by moving to either Harbour Grace or out into the Atlantic while all the other players are trying to either block the player's escape or steal the treasure for themselves.
We were designing for a "Romancing The Stone" type feel and from the feedback we've been getting it seems like we've hit it pretty well.
Primarily is a solitaire game. However, it has a neat variant where a leader and wingman take on the Luftwaffe. My son and I play this variant quit often and enjoy the team effort.
Inkognito is a co-op game, at least after you have found out who your partner is. Then the race begins: both teams try to achieve their secret goal before each other. Delicious and at times extremely tense!
You ought to check out games published by Family Pastimes. There are over 40 of them, and they have all been designed by Jim Deacove, who has made cooperative gaming something of a mission. His greatest success has been with children's games, but he has designed several good adult/teen titles as well. I thought enough of his Caves & Claws to design a variant for it oriented to adults or older children. It's posted here on the Geek, and has been well received by those who tried it.
Cooperative with potentially one or more saboteurs, which makes for some fun bluffing. Great game for the price (I recently purchased it online for $9.99 I think).
