This math trade is for those attending Lobster Trap in 2012. Only those who will be in attendance should participate. (It is acceptable, but not generally recommended, to have a proxy who will be attending make your exchanges. Should you choose to do this, you must explicitly list who your proxy will be on _all_ of the items that you list.) Anyone who ends up not attending will be responsible for _all_ shipping charges (i.e., both directions).

The original German edition. A copy of the English translation is included, and there is no text on the components. It's been played maybe once or twice and and all the components are in excellent condition. The box has very minor shelfwear.

I plan to be at LT all four days.

A small-press game by Reiner Stockhausen. Players move ships around the Baltic delivering goods. The twist is that players don't have individual ships - multiple players can place traders on a ship and move it, and you have to time things so the ships you are on are at the correct ports when it is your turn.

The game has been played just a few times - everything is complete and in very good condition except the rules, which have some wear from handling. (The board is slightly curved, but this is due to its construction.) The rules are in English and German.

I plan to be at LT all four days.

This is by far the rarest of Pressman's "Omino" games - this is only the second copy I have ever seen offered for sale. The plastic tiles have three-part dragons in three colors, which have to be matched up to create complete dragons.

The tiles have light wear but are generally in good shape. (The wear is just minor marks to the backs and sides, which do not affect play since the tiles are face-up after the initial draw.) The box is fairly rough but intact.

In addition, I am including as sweeteners (you can decline them if you prefer):

Tri-Ominos

Quad-Ominos

Both of these also have box wear (and Quad-Ominos has indentation), but the boxes are intact and the pieces are in very good condition.

All of the games are in English.

I plan to be at LT all four days.

A Karl-Heinz Schmiel design. It is an evil memory game, presumably aimed at children but quite challenging enough for adults, believe me. The components are in good shape. The box and insert have some wear. It includes an English translation and the components are language-neutral.

Here's one for the collectors. This game was produced without authorization from Hughes and he sued the publisher, resulting in a case which (I am told) is highly significant in this type of IP law. Hughes won the case and the publisher had to withdraw the game. (I put citations in the description on the game page for anyone who cares.)

The rulebook is very long, not because the game is so complex but because most of it is a potted history of Hughes (with bibliography).

The board, cards, little wooden gold bars, and little plastic Chevys are all in very good condition. The rulebook has minor wear. The box is less good: it has some wear, the lid has a tear, and the bottom is not only indented but punctured. However, it is still basically intact.

I plan to be at LT all four days.

A Wolfgang Kramer pick-up and deliver game. This is the revised edition from 2007, which reduces the randomness to a more reasonable level (IMHO). It's in German, but a rules translation is included, which contains English images of all the cards, so playing with it is quite easy.

It's been played once or twice and all the components are still in excellent condition. The box has some scuffing.

This is one of Ideal's old "Flip R'Cade" series. Each game in the series was based on a video game and used a flipper as a randomizer: players use a piece of springy plastic to shoot little pucks, and where they end up determines how far you move and/or what you can do. It's a reasonably clever idea as you can (in theory) control the flipping to some extent.

This is a good game to get in a no-ship trade as it's fairly large, so shipping it is a pain.

The game is complete (in fact it has an extra piece). The pieces are all in very good condition, with the stickers still attached. The cardboard back of the board has warped a fair amount over the years - this doesn't affect gameplay, it just makes it look wavy if you look at it closely. The rules have some wear. The box has a little wear and a small tear, but is basically fine. The original insert is present.

I plan to be at LT all four days.

This is an Alan Moon design from way back in 1988. It's an electronic baseball game for two players which can be played in a number of different modes. It has a built-in set of star players from 1988, 20 from each league: Wade Boggs, Don Mattingly, Cal Ripken, Roger Clemens, Darryl Strawberry, Mike Schmidt, Nolan Ryan, etc. In addition, this comes with:

1. A Hall of Fame cartridge. The cartridges plug in to provide extra teams. This came with the game, according to the box. It includes a single 20-man team of older players: Honus Wagner, Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, etc. This cartridge doesn't include cards for the players, unlike the others (there are cards for the built-in players).

2. The Boston/New York (Yankees)/Baltimore cartridge: the expansion cartridges you purchased separately all had three teams. The cartridge and the cards are still sealed.

3. The California/Oakland/Seattle cartridge. Everything for this is also still sealed.

The base game material is not sealed but it's all there, and the cards and the plastic unit are still in very good condition (and the unit works). The stickers on the unit (which are just decoration) are peeling because the glue is about gone - the stickers themselves are in fine shape so you could glue them on if desired. (The unused stickers are still there on the sheet.) The rules have wear but are still usable. All three boxes (base game and cartridges) have some wear and old price stickers, but are intact. The base game insert is missing.

I plan to be at LT all four days.

A Puerto Rico lot. Here's what's in it:

1a. The base game. It's Rio Grande, 1st edition (the only difference between this and 2nd edition is that the player boards have a small misprint which doesn't affect anything). It's complete (plus a few extra colonists). It's clearly been played a fair amount, as some pieces show minor wear, but it's in perfectly decent shape.

1b. Homemade replacement tiles for the buildings, with pictures. They are of pretty good quality. There are two sets of University tiles, one with cost 7 and one with cost 8.

2a. Puerto Rico: Expansion I – New Buildings. This is the version from the Treasure Chest (in English), so it does not have forest tiles. It looks to not have been used much.

2b. Homemade replacement tiles for the expansion buildings. Here's a picture (not of my set, but of a set using the same art):

3. Homemade replacement tiles for the Nobles expansion buildings. The original Nobles expansion is NOT included, but since it just consists of the tiles and 20 red nobles, if you can find substitute pieces for the latter you can play with this expansion. (If the English expansion rules aren't available online I'll provide a copy.)

I plan to be at LT all four days.

This is a double-sided board into which rubber pegs are inserted. If you insert a peg into a hole which already has a peg on the other side, the device beeps. That's it. However, Parker Brothers managed to get people to design 15 games for the thing, including 7 by Sid Sackson, which is why it's something people might actually want.

The device itself is in very good shape, as are the pegs, all of which are present (in fact they are overly present - there are supposed to be 40 orange pegs but I counted 49). The device works, as I just put a battery in and tested it. The rulebook has some wear but is quite usable. The original warranty card and telephone hotline sheet are included (much good they are now). The box is rough, with wear and tears, some of which have been taped. However, it does still serve to hold everything.

I plan to be at LT all four days.

This is a Richard Borg design, and is generally considered the best of the X-Men games he designed back in the early 90s. It's in English.

It's complete and the components are generally in very good condition. The X-Men power cards have curled a bit with age, but are still perfectly usable. A previous owner painted some of the figures with limited success, but of course they too are still usable. A few of the labels on the box insert (telling you which figure goes where) are a little loose at the edges. The box has some shelfwear.

A Wolfgang Kramer design, which is actually pretty good, just a bit long for what it is for my tastes.

This is the original Clementoni edition. It's complete and in decent shape. The cards are quite curled, which I suspect is typical and due to the weird stock Clementoni used. They are still usable. An English translation is included, and as I recall the German is pretty minimal and easy to follow.

In addition to Wildlife, this lot includes another Kramer (and Kiesling game): Evergreen. It's in German (there was never an English edition), but there is no text on the components and a translation is included. It's been opened and played once.

Tori Shogi is a 18th-century Shogi variant played on a 7x7 board with pieces named after birds. It's difficult to get, at least outside Japan - there is a guy in the UK who makes sets, but they're rather expensive. The set I am selling is one of these. The board is blue vinyl. The pieces are wooden. The picture in this entry is of this set.

The board and pieces are in very good condition (and there is an extra Sparrow piece). The rules have minor wear. The tube has one end taped shut and the game name taped to it (probably not original). The board has a tendency to curl a bit the edges, but the picture was taken about five minutes after taking it out of the tube - if you reverse-roll it a bit it will lie pretty flat.

Two older British-made abstract games.

1. Pin Point, for 2-4 players. In this game players are trying to make patterns using the great pieces, which look like giant pill capsules, each half black and half another color. Mike Siggins gave this a good review in Sumo back in the misty depths of time. The box has a fair amount of scuffing but is intact. The components are in excellent condition.

2. La Trel, for 2 players. Siggins gave this a good review, too. I have the Millennium plastic pieces edition. The box has a moderate amount of scuffing around the edges, but is otherwise fine. The contents are in excellent shape.

The exceptions are the rulebook, which is fine but has minor wear from handling, and one of the Dilemma tiles, which has a little edgewear. Since these four tiles are identical and marked on the back, this does not affect play at all. The rulebook includes English.

I plan to be at LT all four days.

Played a few times, still in very good condition. The box has minor issues (JKLM's boxes were uncoated paper badly glued to cardboard, so they tend not to be great). In English.

I plan to be at LT all four days.
