Man, that guy at the booth is a smooth talker: he even managed to sell me the calculator thingy. If I had waited, I could have had both games for the same price on the weekend. Oh, well, I knew I would be getting it anyway.
Actually stood in line for this the first day. How can it take people so long at these things? We stand in line 20 minutes, and then they get to the stand and start trying to make decisions?!? And the staff look like they are surprised when the people arrive. Man, the inefficiency is amazing.
Had to chuckle as I stood in line waiting for a game called 'Queue'. I gather they sold out on this one as well, so glad to get my copy. My god, six thick rulebooks on nice paper inside the box complete with paste-up stickers for all the cards in each language, all for 25 Euros??
The final purchase, also a bit of an impulse buy. One of the last two copies the guy had. Interested talking with him. Not normally my genre, but they have tried to do something very different, and I got a recommendation from a friend who tried it last year, so took the plunge on it.
