Stone Age Online Tournament
- Tony Ackroyd(1000rpm)United Kingdom
The contest will function as an all-play-all (aka round robin) format, so all players will play 13 x 4-player games, meaning they play each other person once and once only.
Scoring: Players receive points based on their position at the end of games. 1st gets 3 points, 2nd=2, 3rd=1, 4th=zero. Points will be totalled in a league table. At the end of these 130 games the top four players will take part in a Final.
The Final will be three simultaneous 4-player games of Stone Age where each player's scores in those three games will be totalled to determine their overall score and final positions. In addition the players who came 5th-8th will also have a 3-game play off to determine their final position.
Starting Games: Stage 1 of the tournament starts immediately. This encompasses games A-G. Any of the 4 players on each table can start their game. Simply invite the others to play. Full instructions on setting up games are in the comments section at the bottom of this geeklist. Stage 2 will start on
310 December when the the remaining games can start.
Updates: so that we know what is going on please update this list with a comment when:
1. The invite is created for a game
2. All players accept and the game starts
3. The game ends - please post the results and any comments
4. The game has seemingly stalled
5. You want to banter/trash-talk
When games end also update the spreadsheet here (details instructions are in the comments at the bottom of this geeklist):
The list is open for additional Items. Feel free to add one if you want more space to talk about a specific game/tactic/event.
Prizes All geekgold donated to this list will be used as a prize fund and will be split between the best performers. The %split will be 40/25/15/10/10 for 1st-5th. I will add in some of my own geekgold to round up amounts.
