Hey everybody. I film a series of boardgame runthrough videos called Rahdo Runs Through and I run a yearly fundraising drive on Kickstarter to fund said series.

One of the main rewards I give to people who back me in these funderaisers is the ability to vote for (and at some backer levels directly choose) a portion of the games I would runthrough every month. So far the results have been very cool - the voters have been putting me through my paces with some really heavy games, and also some great obscure ones. Here's a thread devoted to the results so far: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/966204/directors-chair

The games that the voters choose from is found here in this geeklist. If you've got a game you'd really like to see the voters choose, add it here, and explain why you think it would be a good choice.

If you see something you like, be sure to thumbsup it!!! Every month, when the voters cast their ballots, the list they'll be voting from will come from this geeklist, composed of the games that have gotten the most thumbs from all of you!

Bear in mind, I'll exercise some editorial control over this geeklist. If you request something insanely expensive/impossibly rare, I probably will remove it. Also, if it doesn't support 2 players, I'll definitely delete it, because I simply cannot play the game to do a runthrough, as I *only* play 2p games.

Note, I also remove items from the list if I'm confident my wife Jen or I will NOT enjoy playing them. Here's a list games that have been removed (and the reasons why):

Too long, heavy, and/or fiddley:
1830, Android, Arkham Horror, De Vulgari Eloquentia, Firefly: The Game, Fury of Dracula, Here I Stand, High Frontier 3rd Edition, Incredible Expeditions, Indonesia, Leaving Earth, Marvel Heroes, Neuland, Poseidon, Roads & Boats, Shadows of Brimstone, Space Alert, Ticket to Ride: Rails & Sails, through the ages 4th edition, Warhammer quest: Silver Tower

Too conflict-ey/cutthroat-ish:
1775, Abyss, Advanced Squad Leader, An Infamous Traffic, Arcadia Quest, Ares Project, argent the consortium, Argo, artificium, Asante, Ashes, Barony, Battlecon Devastation of Endines, Battlelore 2nd edition, The Battle of Five Armies, belle of the ball, Bluemoon Legends, Boss Monster, Broom Service, Byzantium, Candamir: The First Settlers, Cardgame of Oz, Cavern Tavern, Clash of Cultures, Clockwork Wars, Colonial: Europe's Empires Overseas, Colt Express, Cry Havoc, The Convoy, Deadman's Doubloons, Dead of Winter, Dicemasters: Avengers vs Xmen, Dos Rios, Draco Magi, Dragon Caster, Dragon's Horde, Duel of Ages II, Dwar7s Fall, El Gaucho, Emergence Event, Epic Card Game, Equinox, Feudum, Fog of War, Gaia, Game of Thrones the card game, Gosu 2, Greedy Greedy Goblins, Han, Haze Islands, Heartland, Hegemonic, Heldentaufe, Hoplomachus, Hyperborea, Imhotep, Impulse, Inis, Jambo, Kahuna, Krosmaster: Arena, Liberte, Mage Wars, March of ants, Massillia, Masters of Orion, Merchants & Marauders, Memoir '44, Metallum, Mexica, Mission Red Planet, Mythotopia, Navajo Wars, New Dawn, Nexus Ops, Norsaga, Omen: A Reign of War, Onward to Venus, Pax Porfiriana, Polis: Fight for the Hegemony, Portal, Princess Bride: I Hate to Kill You, Raptor, Reef Encounter, Rise to Power, Romolo o Remo, Royals, Saboteur: Duel, santiago de cuba, Sator Arepo Tenet Opera Rotas, Seafall, Sentinel Tactics, Serenissima, sheep & thief, Shipwrights of the North Sea, Sid Meier's Civilization, Small World, Space Empires 4x, Star Trek Fleet Captains, Star Wars the Card Game, Star Wars Queens Gambit, Star Wars Imperial Assault, Star Wars Rebellion, Star Wars Xwing, Strife: Shadows and Steam, Survive: Escape from Atlantis!, Terraforming Mars, thunder & lightning, tigris & euphrates, Tiny Epic Kingdoms, Twilight Squabble, Vanuatu, Vivarium, War of the Ring, Whelps to Wyrms, Witchcraft, World of Yoho

Jen's not crazy about theme:
13 Days, 51st State, Baseball Highlights 2045, Blood Bowl, Camp Grizzly, Clockwork Kingdom, Colonialism, Command & Colors Ancients, Darkness Sabotage, Dawn of the Zeds, Deep Madness, dojo kun, Doomtown, Eschaton,
, Kingsport: Festival, Legendary Encounters: An Alien Deck Building Game, Lords & Ladies, Letters from Whitechapel, Level 7 [Omega Protocol], Manhattan Project: Chain Reaction, Mystery Rummy: Jack the Ripper, Mr Jack Pocket, Neuroshima Hex, New Bedford, New Era, star realms, Quartermaster General, saltlands, Steam Torpedo, Scythe, Tally Ho, Thunder Alley, Twlight Struggle, Wir Sind Das Volk, Zombie Survival, Warfighter, Zombie State

Too abstract:
Arboretum, Fits, Hanamikoji, Haru Ichiban, Pastiche

Not a gameplay genre or style we enjoy:
circus train, Darklight: Memento Mori, defenders of the realm, Empires of the Void II, Exodus: Proxima Centauri, haggis, Dungeons of Infinity, lords of xidit, jupiter rescue, merchants of venus, rhein river trade, Skull Tales, Super Dungeon Explore: Forgotten King, Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles: Shadows of the Past

Too light:
African Park, Archaeology the card game, Bakerspeed, Burger Joint, Castle Panic, Clown Standoff, Chrononauts, Dudab, DungeonQuest Revised Edition, Expedition: Famous Explorers, Fabulous Beasts, flick em up, Hengist, Jamaica, Machi Koro, North Winds, Perry Rhodan, Pina Pirata, Potion Explosion, Rattlebones, Stinky Business, Takenoko, Ticket to Ride, Tokaido, Tsuro of the Seas

Less than ideal for 2:
Antidote, Asara, Automobile, Camel Up, Catan, Chicago Express, coutier, dominaire, Dwarves Inc, elfenroads, El Grande, Egizia, Fate of the Norns, Fief: France 1429, Gauntlet of Fools, Goldbrau, Grand Cru, Green Deal, The Hare & The Tortise, Imperial, I'm the Boss, Infection: Humanities Last Gasp, Isarabi, Istanbul: Letters & Seals, The Last Spike, Lost Valley, Manifest Destiny, motto, Orcs Orcs Orcs, Pandemic: Contagion, Peak Oil, Rattus, Red 7, Robin des Bois, Rockwell Expansion, Sail to India, Sentinels of the Multiverse, Siege of Sunfall, Sneaks & Snitches, Stephensons Rocket, Study in Emerald 2nd Ed, Tinner's Trail, Wealth of Nations, Zooloretto

Simply Not interested in playing:
Agora, Castelli, Castle Panic, Dragonscroll, Fairy Land, Hanabi, Kairo, Linwood, Myth 2.0, Poseidon's Kingdom, O Zoo le Mio, Star Trek panic, Star Wars Angriff der Klonkreiger, Tavarua

So how do these requests get used?
Here's how it works: there's 2 types of titles on this list: games I own, and games I don't own. Every month, I pick the top thumbed games from the "games I own" category and include them on voting ballots that my backers can use to choose which games I'll film every month. A few times a year, when my backers get to vote on what new games I'll buy, that list is comprised of the top thumbed games that I don't own from this list.

So if you really want to see something covered, list it here (if it's not already listed, and isn't one of the games above) and get it some thumbs!

Also, I want to give a HUGE shout out to BGG user

who made a nice little app for me to automatically count thumbs to save me the trouble of doing it by hand. Here's the link if anyone would like an at-a-glace view of where their favourite request is standing: http://thumbs.rahdo.com

Also, not for nothing, but I still choose the majority of games to be covered by Rahdo Runs Through, and this list will definitely influence me too when choosing games to film

The game has unique theme of wildlife preservation, I think both you and Jen will like. Everybody loves pandas!

Also, it has very cool worker-placement variant with line of sight and variable "board" (cards).

I think it is worth a try.

The dice game of the boardgame, which ironically comes with less dice than the boardgame came with. Gotta be a must, being Feld (co-designed with Christoph Toussaint)...

W Eric Martin did a nice written 'playthrough' example on his BGG News blog, but a full runthrough by Rahdo would be even better!

This is it. This is where the weathered parchment pinpointed the Temple of the Feathered Serpent, lost since the conquistadors who had drawn the map disappeared over 500 years ago. Pushing aside the great cycad fronds from the clearing you see the ancient pyramid before you. The entrance, you know, is at the top.

Climbing, you hear those sounds coming from the jungle behind you again. Something has been tracking you, waiting for an easy meal. It doesn’t matter. The treasures of the Incas lie within this ziggurat and an entire jamboree of ravenous jaguars couldn’t turn you away now.

Pushing aside the stone door at the top, you begin to descend the slick stone steps. What could go wrong now that you’re so close?

This is a little solo print and play game that I created for a contest. I finally created the second version that works! Everything has been redone: rules, art, etc. I even hired a professional editor.

This game is free to make and play. I am just so happy to see it out in the world.

Richard, if you are interested in running through this game, I will happily send you the Artscow cards for it at no cost. Thank you.

Bios Genesis 2nd edition should start shipping in November 2017. I honestly don't think I can learn this game without an RRT.

Also, the following should make any science-loving human squee from the depths of their molecular being:

- Included in the 2nd edition are the rules which allow you to play from the origins of life in Bios: Genesis, into the time of dinosaurs in Bios: MegaFauna (coming later this year) and interstellar travel in Bios: Origins (coming 2018).

- High Frontier and Interstellar campaign modes will likely be added in 2018 if at all possible too.

Can you imagine the fun of playing a campaign that has you evolving all the way from bacteria to an interstellar traveler?

Istanbul: Das Würfelspiel is a standalone dice game in which players are once again plunging into the bustle of Istanbul's bazaar to collect rubies and thus secure their victory. By cleverly using the dice, the players can make money and goods, then exchange them for the precious jewels.

So I own Terra Mystica and have enjoyed it but have yet to plum the full depths of it. When Gaia Project was first announced most people said it was just "Terra Mystica in space." However, there is more information that makes it look like this may be better at two players than it's big brother and added a tech tree among other differences. I was wondering if these differences might make it worth a Runthrough. My eyebrow is steadily raising the more info I hear about it.
