While I haven't gotten into the more complex Button Men rules, the core rules of this game make for a fast, fun fighting game that's all about picking which dice to capture with and which die to capture.
You roll until you "crap out" or decide to keep what you have. At that point you often get to decide to go for more points (risky) or go for fewer points while screwing other players. Quicker than Can't Stop. Less Fiddly. More fun.
Dungeon Dice is amazing in its simplicity, speed, and fun factor. While the decisions aren't as hard as they are in the great dice games, the game is just nice and pleasant with a cute theme on top, like a tasty cool dessert after a long day.
I just learned of this game and my family and I have been enjoying it. It is a push-your-luck game using 6 dice. The game rules require if you must throw a 1,5, or 3 of a kind to keep rolling and if you use all 6 dice are keepers you must continue to throw, hoping that you will again meet the criteria. This allows chances for catching-up from behind and tension to big throws. A lot of fun.
I like Can't Stop and Sharp Shooters, but LOVE Six Cubes! By far my favorite "push your luck" type game. What I believe makes this version of Cosmic Wimpout, Farkle, etc. unique is the green and red dice. If on your turn you roll a red six, you *lose* that many points. If on your turn you roll a green six you *double* your cuurent points.
