Austin Board Game Bash 2014 No-Ship Math Trade
Board Game Bash. The convention runs Friday, August 1 through Sunday, August 3 at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Austin, Texas. And, as with any gathering of gamers, there are opportunities to buy/sell/trade for your own collection!
This is the math trade. You might also be interested in the virtual flea market.

The words of the trade moderator (me) and the BGB organizer are final.
Use the discussion thread for discussions and requests. I'll lock this geek list after the offer deadline so you won't be able to edit anything further or post questions.
Only attendees of BGB, or those who have a proxy, can participate in this math trade. The convention organizer will schedule a formal time for trade, but trades may be completed at any prior time if both parties agree.
Only submit items that you have in your possession. If something you list trades, you are expected to provide it to the recipient in the stated condition, or find/buy a replacement in the same or better condition.
Accurately and thoroughly describe the condition, language, and description of your items, including missing components and the box itself. Yes, this means you need to inventory opened games.
You are permitted to list board games, RPG items, video games, LEGO, geek gold, gift certificates, or anything else legal for a minor to buy/sell/trade in Texas.
If you edit an entry, it can only be to clarify the entry (i.e. list the edition) or make it better (i.e. add a sweetener). If you need to downgrade an entry, make a new entry and submit a blank want list for the old one. Do not delete any entry from the geek list, as this messes up the numbering scheme which I use to track items.
Arbitrage (trading cash for cash, or geek gold for geek gold, trying to make a profit) is prohibited. I will delete your wants and rerun the trade without them to fix this. Trading gift card for gift card is okay as long as the cards are for different merchants.
Use of the On-Line Want List Generator is mandatory. If you have questions about how to use it, ask in the discussion thread and you'll get help!
Please do not simultaneously list items in the math trade and the virtual flea market, as this discourages people bothering with the math trade. After I announce the math trade results, any items that did not trade can be listed in the virtual flea market and/or taken to the actual flea market.
Why participate in this math trade?
The math trade is the most likely way to trade or sell your items, or acquire used games, while at the Board Game Bash, because multi-person bartering is more efficient than finding one-to-one trades.

Hmm, that doesn't make sense. Can you explain math trades again?
Sure. Post your questions in the discussion thread and we'll get you help.
Okay, I still don't get it.
Maybe list your items in the virtual flea market.
What software will be used?
I'll use Trade Maximizer version 1.4, seed 78756, with 250 iterations for users-trading. I think there's a newer version floating around that does parallel processing of multiple iterations while still preserving repeatability; if I can find that one, I'll see if it yields the same results and use it.
