A place to keep track of my pnp builds. It is also a way of shaming myself into actually playing all of them. I really enjoy making and sometimes playing goes by the wayside.
Over the years I have started including more images and commentary. Feel free to enjoy my list and leave comments if you need more information

I have created a geeklist of my tools for those of you interested in the what I use to craft my builds. I am (very) slowly adding my collection to it over time.
JV's PnP Tool Extravaganza

I have also created a (very short) list of the software that I have used to accomplish some specific goals here:
JV's PnP Software Extravaganza

There is magic happening over here on Rachel's Geeklist:

I built version one of the game, there has since been an updated release that makes use of lighter colors.

Boards: The boards are attached to medium weight chipboard. I sealed them using a layer of matte finish mod podge.

Tokens: 0.5" round wood token for the "ship" and 1 centimeter wood cubes to track events. I think I may have swapped out the ship with a thrifted chip from the Zathura boardgame after taking this pic.

I really enjoy this game. It plays quickly, and it really gave me a sense of pressure with respect to time. I have been thinking about remaking it with some more high end crafting techniques. someday.

Board: Printed on 65 lb Southworth linen paper. The board is attached to medium weight chipboard; sealed with several light layers of Krylon acrylic coating.

Cards: The cards are made with a combination of 65 lb (fronts) and 24 lb (backs) Southworth linen paper spray glued together. I sealed the cards using several light layers of Krylon acrylic coating. Corners rounded using the 1/4" Fiskars Corner Trimmer. I have since stopped using this tool as it returned inconsistent results.

The game uses card laying to track your path, so I printed the cards at around 75% size. This makes them fit on the table a little better.

Love this game. Quick, neat decisions, and cool story.

I really enjoy this game so I decided to build a custom version based in the world of Middle Earth.

Board: A custom pdf map of Middle Earth cut into 4 parts using Posterazor program. mounted in 4 parts on medium weight chipboard sealed with Krylon low odor clear finish Gloss spray, backed with faux leather contact paper. Bookbinder's tape used to join the board, it folds into 1/4 size. Hand drawn area borders following rivers, mountain ridgelines, etc.

Cards: Todd Sander's redesigned tall slim cards. The cards are made with a combination of 65 lb (fronts) and 24 lb (backs) Southworth linen paper spray glued together. I sealed the cards and board using several light layers of Krylon low odor clear finish gloss spray. Corners rounded using the 1/4" Crop-a-Dile Corner Chomper.

All the Tokens:
Cities: Lego pieces glued to LOTR Monopoly "houses"
Farms: Dollhouse miniature bread loaf
Desert Pyramids: Blank D4
Mountain: A D4 sprayed with gray matte paint, Snow cap made with white Sculpey glued in place; clear gloss spray finish
Volcano: A D4 sprayed with gray matte paint, lava made with red Sculpey glued in place; clear gloss spray finish
Faultline: Hand formed Sculpey token
Forest: wood token from Stonemaier games Treasure Chest
Tribes: LOTR Heroclicks; unsnapped bases, replaced with custom 1-12 dial
Gold: Gold token from Stonemaier games Treasure Chest

I found this game several years ago and have always come back to it. Although this map does not allow me to play the custom scenarios, it is great for the main game.

Board: Board printed on Southworth 65 lb linen; sealed with Krylon low odor clear finish gloss spray (many coats to give a shiny finish). Attached to self adhesive magnet with spray glue. Corners rounded using the 1/4" Crop-a-Dile Corner Chomper.

Coins: printed on 28 lb. paper; sealed with Krylon as above; attached to medium weight chipboard; used a General brand arch punch - ~0.5" for copper, ~0.75" for silver, and ~1" for gold.

Ship Tokens: Ships thrifted from the Master and Commander board game. These have a magnetic bottom that attach to the board quite well.

Dice: Pirate skull dice.

I have not had the time to play this one yet. I think around the time I crafted it, a "design a magnetic travel game" contest was on. While I am no game designer I did want to play around with magnets

Board: Printed on Southworth 65 lb linen paper; mounted in 3 parts on medium weight chipboard; sealed with several heavy layers of Krylon low odor clear finish gloss spray to a high gloss shine. Backed with faux leather contact paper. Bookbinder's tape used to join the board pieces. The left hand side of the board folds in half upon itself, and then folds over on top of the right hand side to pack down to ~8x10.

Cards: The cards are made with a combination of 65 lb (fronts) and 24 lb (backs) southworth linen paper spray glued together. I sealed the cards and using several heavy layers of Krylon low odor clear finish gloss spray. Corners rounded using a Fiskars 1/4" corner rounder (I have since stopped using this tool as it did not return consistent results).

Food Tokens: 1cm plastic cubes from EAI

Dice: Koplow 16mm assorted transparent colors

Rulebook: Printed on 28 lb paper in "booklet" mode, bound using a Swingline long reach stapler.

Board: Printed on Southworth 65 lb linen paper; sealed with Krylon low odor clear finish gloss spray. The bifold board is comprised of 2 pieces of medium weight chipboard, wrapped in faux leather contact paper. The artwork is then attached via 3m spray glue.

Cards: These are a replica of 16th century French playing cards from Rose & Pentagram design. A friend gave them to me as a random gift a few years back and I'm glad to finally have a use for them They are sleeved using Ultra Pro's 2.5x3.5 clear sleeves (which are a tiny but short for the height and a tiny bit long for the width).

Tokens: The crows are 0.5" round head hardwood plugs. They were dyed in RIT black liquid dye for several hours, then sealed with Krylon's low odor gloss spray.

I would like to redo the tokens for this game. I used my guillotine cutter and it sort of squished the edges. After this experience, I started using the rotary cutter for components of this size. If I do rebuild them, I would love to create round tokens using Sculpey and attach the art to those. That will take some editing of the images though...

I'm a big fan of the solo variant of San Juan and so I put together an upgraded set of boards.

Board: Printed on Southworth 65 lb Linen paper. The boards are attached to medium weight chipboard using spray glue; sealed using several light layers of Krylon low odor clear gloss finish. The boards are backed with blue Darice Sticky Felt Sheets. Both are bifold and make use of 3m bookbinding tape (beneath the printed layer).

Cards: I designed a set of 3.5x2.5 cards on Printer Studio. They are smooth finish and include a set of trade value cards and the expansion buildings. I have a complete set of linen, but have not opened them as this set does fine.

Rulebook: Printed booklet style and bound using Swingline long reach stapler.

This one never gets old. I've been playing for a couple of years and my win ratio is a little less than 50%.
