1st Jan AGN 35, First play of a new game for the first game of the New Year! TAMN 25. AGN did an excellent job of following to get to 12 buildings/adventurers while TAMN was only at 9!

7th April our first 4 player game! TAMN 21, MC 21, AGN 20, AGN 19, AGN triggered game end at 10 by following TAMN's build, LC had 8 while TAMN & MC had 7 - it was VPs that counted though, FTW!
8th Apr, 4 player was fun and quite different to 2 player, so why not do it again? TAMN 33, AGN 29, JM 22, CB 19. Everyone had 10 buildings/adventurers by following, but TAMN's building points and money counted FTW!

9th Aug 2 player, AGN 35, TAMN 29, AGN had 12 buildings/adventurers while TAMN only had 9. AGN won with a single card - the Bard - giving the 6 point victory margin!
11th Aug 2 player, Events expansion, AGN 39, TAMN 31, AGN got to 12 cards & I followed for 11. It was the slowest most technical game we've played with only 3 cards left in the building deck at the end!
14th Aug AGN 39, TAMN 31, once again a 6 point difference for AGN with the Bard!
15th Aug Monuments expansion, TAMN 50, AGN 48, TAMN was behind all game. AGN triggered game end with 12 cards & 2 monuments, but TAMN followed for 10 cards & 2 monuments and the win!
10th Dec TAMN triggered game end on a 'follow' with 10 buildings/recruits to AGN's 8 for a win of 33 to 24. TAMN did a slightly better job of following every time to get ahead on recruits and builds, FTW.
Perfect 2 play option and portable too. I just wish I had a winning strategy figured out!

1st Feb AGN NBN, TAMN Criminal, TAMN won 7pts to 2 pts with lots of runs, mainly on HQ.

7th Feb AGN NBN, TAMN Criminal, AGN won 7pts to 3 pts in 24 turns. TAMN should've discarded her draw hand and redrawn!
8th Mar AGN Wayland, TAMN Shaper, AGN won 9pts to 4 pts in 41 turns. TAMN made a successful run almost every turn! Agenda's were slow to come out, we almost drew all the way through the corporation deck! The early agendas were low scoring too - making for a long game.
14th Apr AGN Jinteki, TAMN Shaper. I was ahead with 2 early agendas but on the 6th turn a run on R&D led to an ambush causing 3 net damage and a win for the corporation!
14th Apr AGN Jinteki, TAMN Shaper reset & replay After 20 turns and 20 runs! I finally got a 3 pt agenda to win 7 (2+2+3) to 6 (2+2+2) - very close!
15th Apr replay. 21 turns and only 9 runs. With all of the agendas at the bottom of the deck and lots of ice in play it wasa long and expensive game. The corporations money finally gave them the win 7 to 2!
15th Apr replay. 8 turns and 6 runs. A successful run on R&D yielded a 3 pt agenda but also an ambush leaving me with no cards in my hand. AGN won even tho we were TAMN 3 pts to AGN 0 pts!
26th Sep, TAMN Jinteki, AGN Anarch, AGN did a good job of limiting TAMN's credits, and made very few runs, but got lucky with his runs on R&D and Archives to win 7 to zero.
27th Sep, TAMN Jinteki, AGN Anarch, A very close game. AGN did a great job of combining his cards and making use of their special effects, while TAMN's limited funds made it difficult to place & rez ice, and advance agendas. It came down to a do or die run for AGN FTW - if he had failed, TAMN would've scored her last agenda FTW. AGN 8 pts to TAMN 5 pts.
2nd Oct, TAMN Jinteki, AGN Anarch, another close game, AGN made more runs this game to limit my credits available. It took a long time for TAMN to get ice in play, but AGN didn't make successsful runs on HQ - where the agendas were! 37 turns for TAMN to win 7 pts to 5!
25th Oct, TAMN Haas Bioroid, AGN Shaper, 34 turns for AGN to win 7 to 0 just when TAMN was finally set to get agenda's out and scored! AGN did well with his runs on R&D while TAMN made some small rules errors!
26th Oct, TAMN Haas Bioroid, AGN Shaper, 39 turns for TAMN to win 7 to 4. It took a while for TAMN to amass lots of credits and get agendas from HQ to servers - only 5 cards left in R&D at game end. AGN made many, many runs on R&D but couldn't pull agendas as they were all in HQ or at the bottom of the deck!
27th Oct, TAMN Haas Bioroid, AGN Shaper, 29 turns TAMN win 7 to 4, by bluffing AGN into making a run on the wrong server! Very close game, it would've been a win for AGN if he had run on the right server and the win for TAMN when he ran on the wrong one.
27th Oct, TAMN Weyland, AGN Shaper, 34 turns for AGN to win 9 to 3. TAMN had another 1 pt agenda that was trashed to rez Archer, and was about to rez a 3pt agenda next turn. Weyland play quite differently to the other corporations, it looks like if the cards can be chained then they can be very effective.
12th Dec, TAMN NBN, AGN Shaper, TAMN did a good job of limiting AGNs credit stock, trashing Armitage Codebusting and making him repay money to the bank. A well placed Red Herring stopped him stealing the agenda he needed for a win after a very expensive run. With credits limited on both sides, TAMN won with 4 agendas, 8 pts, to AGNs 2 Agendas, 4pts.

8th Mar Tracy Island expansion, pseudo 4 player, heroic, AGN Scott & Alan, TAMN Virgil & Tin Tin, just 3 turns to lose catastrophically! The second turn rolled 4 Hoods and a The Hood Advances card. One more Hood rolled on Turn 3 mean game over on Scheme 1!
8th Mar, reset and replay the same game, Win with Tin Tin in 24 turns with the disaster track at 3 and The Hood at 8. Tin Tin was awesome, flying everywhere (inc Space) and fighting disasters - even 2 in one turn!!

2nd Apr Above & Beyond expansion, pseudo 4 player, legendary, AGN Gordon & Scott, TAMN Lady Penelope & Alan, 19 turns to lose by rolling too many Hoods - he advanced onto the second scheme just as we got the tokens together for it!
19th May pseudo 4 player, Tracy Island, AGN Virgil, Tin-Tin, TAMN Lady Penelope, Gordon. Long game at 37 turns, With a lot of early disasters needing equipment we were trying to catch up all game. We finally lost when the disasters ran off the track with one space left on the Hood track and all the tokens & equipment available for the solution just not in the right locations. V close game!
27th May 4 player JM Virgil, TAMN Scott, AGN Alan, CB Lady Penelope. 27 turns for a win that was closer than it should've been. Disaster track at 6, Hood at 9 of 14. I can't believe JM advanced the Hood 5 spaces in a single turn!!
27th May replay Above & Beyond, Crisis mode. Totally hectic, but 15 turns FTW!!!

26th Aug Above & Beyond pseudo-4 player, Tony, Gordon & Virgil, Tracey Alan & Lady Penelope, Hood schemes II, IV & V. We struggled, fending off the inevitable for 18 turns until the Hood advanced to an unresolved Scheme IV and we lost!
28th Sep 3 player, Above & Beyond, TAMN Alan, AGN Virgil, CB Lady Penelope, Schemes I, II & III, Fairly fast and straightforward 18 turn win. Virgil levelled up to 3 quickly while Penny solved all the schemes but stayed at level 1!
28th Sep 3 player, Above & Beyond, TAMN Tin Tin, AGN Brains, CB John, Schemes II,III & IV. In the first 3 disasters & the first scheme, we needed 7 different pod vehicles and had no way to get them. With such a tough start, disasters quickly got out of control and the track filled in just 7 turns for a loss!
28th Sep 3 player, Above & Beyond, TAMN Tin Tin, AGN Brains, CB Gordon, Schemes II,III & IV. A tough game finishing with the Hood on space 10 of 14, we only barely stayed ahead of the Hood on scheme III. Tin Tin at level 3 helped with Hood rolls, it took 34 turns to complete the final scheme with disasters on space 6 of 8.
23rd Dec pseudo-4 player, AGN Virgil, Lady Penelope, TAMN Tin-Tin, Parker, 15 to lose with the disaster track totally out of control - we rolled pretty badly, although a Hood Advances as the very first draw didn't help!!
Loved Pandemic; it's had lots of play with friends. I'm looking forward to trying this out.

We sealed the last gate on the last possible turn with no cards left to draw at the end of turn, all the Great Old Ones Awake (except Cthulhu), only 4 cultists left in stock & 1 Shoggoth on the board!
11th Jan 4 player standard level, TAMN Magician, AGN Reporter, CB Hunter, JM Detective We lost in 21 turns when we pulled the last card - 'Evil Stirs' Cthulhu awoke. We had the cards to close the last gate on the next turn, but we just couldn't get there fast enough before the cards ran out!
21st Feb 4 player standard level, TAMN Doctor, AGN Driver, CB Reporter, JM Magician, 13 turns to awaken all the Great Old Ones and lose the game with only one gate sealed!
21st Feb 4 player standard level, TAMN Doctor, AGN Driver, CB Reporter, JM Magician, 19 turns to awaken all the Great Old Ones and lose the game with 3 gates sealed. We had the cards to seal the last gate if we could get together, but Azathoth awakening meant we ran out of cultists!
9th Mar 4 player standard level, TAMN Hunter, AGN Detective, LC Reporter, MC Magician, 20 turns to lose by running out of clue cards with 3 gates sealed. An error in setup made us reset and replay.
9th Mar 4 player standard level, TAMN Hunter, AGN Detective, LC Reporter, MC Driver, 10 turns to lose by awakening Cthulhu and almost running out of cultists with only one gate sealed - it turns out travelling through gates isn't without risk!
11th Mar pseudo 4 player, easy level, we made some errors in movement recently, so we test played to make sure we're getting it right! TAMN Detective, Driver, AGN Magician, Hunter, 23 turns to seal all the gates FTW, although 2 of us went insane in the process and time was tight - all the GOO awakened except Cthulhu!
24th March 4 player easy level, TAMN the Doctor, AGN the Hunter, LC the Detective, MC the Occultist, A disastrous start with 3 GOO awakening on the very first turn! Then another 3 on the second turn! We sealed one gate on turn 3, and much as we tried, LC went insane on turn 8 and an Evil Stirs on 9 awakened Cthulhu for a catastrophic loss!
24th March 4 player, reset & replay, TAMN the Hunter, AGN the Doctor, LC the Detective, MC the Occultist, LC went insane again on turn 7, but recovered on 11 by sealing a gate. We won in 18 turns with just 3 GOO awake!
2nd May pseudo 4 player Standard level. AGN Detective, Occultist, TAMN Magician, Doctor. 7 rounds for a Shoggoth to leave the board & awaken Cthulhu. With 5 GOOs opening on a single round, we never stood a chance!!
2nd May reset & replay. A Shoggoth leaves the board and awakens Cthulhu for us to lose. We did a bit better by surviving 16 turns & sealing 3 gates this time.
7th May pseudo 4 player Intro level. AGN Hunter, detective, TAMN Reporter, Doctor. 22 turns to seal all the gates FTW. Everyone was sane & 3 GOO awoke, but if we had played standard level we would've lost by 1 card!
12th May 4 player, TAMN Doctor, AGN Driver, CB Detective, JM Reporter, 14 turns to lose. AGN had Alhazred's Flame to remove the Shoggoth, but the sanity test placed 2 cultists and we only had one - we lost!
12th May 4 player JM Reporter, TAMN Driver, AGN Detective, CB Doctor. 14 turns to lose by running out of cultists and awakening Cthulhu!!!
30th Jun 4 player, intro game, TAMN Hunter, AGN Detective, LC Doctor, MC Driver 15 turns to lose! A Shoggoth left the board, awakening Shudde Mell, then 4 cultists in the Woods, awakening Yog Sothoth and we ran out of cultists with only one gate sealed!
30th Jun 4 player, intro game, TAMN Hunter, AGN Detective, LC Doctor, MC Driver 16 turns to lose. We awoke Shub Niggurath who placed 4 cultists, leaving us with only 2 in the pool when we needed to spawn 3. we had 3 gates sealed and were only one person away from sealing the last gate for the win - very close!
22nd Dec, pseudo-4 player, AGN the Hunter, the Reporter, TAMN the Detective, the Driver, 19 turns for us to lose when a Shoggoth escaped through a gate, Shub awoke and put out 3 cultists leaving us none for recruiting at end of turn. We had one gate sealed and were about to seal 2 more - this game gets out of control quickly!!
With so much KS content we really need to play this a bit more!
11th Jan 2 player, Big Game Hunting. Monty Python Knights & Morgan. The 3rd player uncovered the last objective on the 8th round to win, we were so over-run with zombies it wasn't funny!!
12th Jan 2 player, The Shepherds. Monty Python Knights & Morgan. 9 rounds to win although Mortimer fell to collateral damage on the last round. We did a great job of using Repulse to remove an Abomination, Necromancer, fatties, walkers & runners (8 zombies) in one fell swoop!
12th Jan 2 player, The Black Book. Monty Python Knights & Morgan. 10 rounds to lose due to far too many necromancers spawning. All games to date have been with 6 unique necromancers in the deck - it's hard!!
12th Jan 2 player, The Black Book. replay with 2 unique necromancers. Tokens came out quickly so it wasn't too hard to get the vaults and the book, but the game was dragged out by my bad rolls meaning it was 3 turns to get 4XP to go RED!
13th Jan 2 player, Famine. Monty Python Knights & Morgan. A long game, finished at full health with just 7 cards in the item deck. Totally swamped with zombies the Chaos Longbow was handy giving Morgan 14XP in one fell swoop! It would've been much longer without 2 torches and transmutation in play!
27th Jan 2 player, The Commandry. Monty Python Knights & Morgan. 3 necromancers. we were lucky the blue & green objectives came out early and we managed experience well so we levelled up evenly (3/6 went red) and limited zombie spawns. T
FTW in 10 rounds.
27th Jan 2 player, In caligine Abditus. Monty Python Knights & Morgan. 3 necromancers, with 3 necromancers & 2 abominations spawning in round 3, & 1 necromancer in 4, we were unable to manage all the gates. Grin left the board with 6 gates out and we lost in round 4!
28th Jan 2 player, In caligine Abditus replay. Monty Python Knights & Morgan. Beauregard was pinned by 2 abominations and died for us to lose in round 4!

6th Aug 2 player, Dead Trail, Monty Python Knights & Morgan. Necromancer, Grimm & 2 abominations. 5 turns to lose when one of AGN's knights took 3 bites due to a double activation. We had some very difficult card draws in this game!

With a Necromancer, Ostakar and an Abomination all spawning in the first building we opened it was surprising we managed to tough it out 4 rounds before we were pinned on a street spawn point with the Necromancer, Ostakar and the Abomination plus assorted Zombies. We quite rather than play out the number of turns it would've taken to spawn, take damage, spawn etc and die.
7th Dec 2 player, Dead Trail, Monty Python Knights & Morgan. Necromancer & 2 abominations. We fared much better this time and did a good job with noise and guiding the Zombies via long routes. A torch helped us with searching, however we still got swamped by Zombies before we could get to the vaults. It was a very long game to lose in the end!
5th Aug 3 player, Quest 1 JM Chauncy, Beauregard, AGN Morgan, Montalban, TAMN Mortimer, Gilbert, 3 turns to lose catastrophically, overrun with wolves. Boy, those things are fast!
5th Aug, 3 player, reset & replay, Pinned between the Wolfbomination and an abomination we were all set to escape with dragon bile & a torch, but we were overrun with wolves and lost when 5 wolves bit 2 knights and killed one of them!
7th Aug, reset & replay. Savvy closing of spawn points when we removed necromancers allowed us to channel the wolves & zombies along certain routes. AGN/Morgan got 28XP in one fell swoop when he incinerated the zombies/wolves trapped in the dead end behind the tower when we opened the door. It took careful planning to exit the board FTW in a rather long game!
21st Oct, Quest 2, Know your enemy, CB Chauncy, JM Mortimer, Morgan, TAMN Beauregard, AGN Montalban, Gilbert. 17 turns to collect all the objectives and exit the map. Killed one abomination with bile and a torch and one Wolfbomination with the DragonSword. We did well to manage our experience and keep the wolves under control FTW.
21st Nov, Quest 3, Evil Twins,4 player. A very long game with constantly changing plans due to extra necromancer gates popping up all over. We rallied well after a disastrous start and us all taking damage from an abomination. We managed experience well with 4 of us going red and two high orange and thought we managed the abominations well too, until one spawned at the opposite end of the board while we were within one turn of the exit! More delays! But we won even though this was far from a two hour game!!
Love Elder Sign and I like the variety all the expansions bring to game play. I'm looking forward to trying this one.
3rd Jan 2 player TAMN Patrice Hathaway AGN Ursula Downs vs Ithaqua. Summer. Ursula went insane on turn 18 & the new guy was devoured! The doom track filled on turn 28 and Ithaqua destroyed us!
3rd Jan TAMN Kate Winthrop, AGN Amanda Sharpe, vs Rhan-Tegoth, Winter. Amanda died on Turn 13. 15 turns for Rhan-Tegoth to awaken, it took 7 atempts to remove all 8 doom tokens, but we finally defeated the Great Old One FTW.
16th Apr, pseudo-4 player AGN Charlie Kane, Tony Morgan, TAMN Rex Murphy, Ursula Downs vs Rhan-Tegoth, Summer. 19 turns for Rhan-Tegoth to awaken, with 7 of 10 Elder Signs collected. It took 6 attempts to remove all 8 doom tokens, with Rex & Ursula removing 3 each FTW. We were very lucky with the items and allies in play at game end.
17th Apr, pseudo-4 player AGN Jim Culver, Wilson Richards, TAMN Patrice Hathaway, Mandy Thompson vs Rhan-Tegoth, Summer. 15 turns for us to collect 10 of 10 Elder Signs FTW! On turn 12 we killed Jim, Wilson and Patrice and replaced them with Amanda Sharpe, Diana Stanley and Monterey Jack. 3 of 8 doom tokens were out and we had zero supplies!
21st Apr pseudo-4 player AGN Gloria Goldberg, Tony Morgan, TAMN Patrice Hathaway, Wendy Adams vs Rlim-Shaikorth, Summer, Everyone was blessed by turn 13, It took 28 turns for us to finish with 14 of 13 Elder signs and only 2 Doom tokens, but 3 storm markers on all 6 adventures! Completing all 4 tasks really helped with keeping the storm markers under some semblance of control!
11th Oct. 2 player, AGN Rex Murphy, TAMN Bob Jenkins, vs Ithaqua (from the base game). 20 turns to complete Heart of Darkness and reset the storm track. Turn 22 we hit zero supplies, but we managed to get the last 3 Elder Signs out FTW on turn 24 with Bob at zero health and hardly any boosts in play! Good close game!
20th Dec, 2 player, AGN Tony Morgan, TAMN Rex Murphy vs Yig. Summer. We managed supplies and Doom well to keep the doom track at just 1 doom all game! TAMN was a monster killer extraordinaire - 5 on a single turn and then 3 the next!! The trophies really helped with removing the many, many storm markers! - for a fairly close win in 28 turns. 11 Doom (needed 10) but lots of storm markers coming out!
We struggle with winning this game before the Great Old One awakens. It'll be good to spend some time with it and see if we can figure out a winning strategy!
16th Feb, pseudo 4 player, AGN Marie Lambeau, Norman Withers, TAMN Ashcan Pete, Jim Culver vs Ghatanothoa. Marie was killed on round 8 & Lily Chen joined. Gates were out of control and it was only 12 turns (3 rounds) to fill the Doom Track. 13 turns to vanquish Ghatanothoa even though he killed Jim on his first attack.
18th Feb, pseudo 4 player, AGN Mark Harrigan, wendy Adams, TAMN Tommy Muldoon, Diana Stanley vs Cthulhu. 29 turns for the Doom Track to fill and Cthulhu to awaken with 5 Elder signs out. Diana was devoured on turn 14, Mark on turn 16 and Gloria on turn 29. (Rex Murphy replaced Diana, Gloria replaced Mark & Lily Chen replaced Gloria). 11 turns to kill Cthulhu, FTW.
18th Feb, pseudo 4 player, AGN Skids O'Toole, Finn Edwards, TAMN Agnes Baker, Jowe Diamond vs Yig. Skids goes insane on turn 5 (round 2) and kate Winthrop replces him. 31 turns for the Doom Track to fill with 6 of 10 Elder Signs out. Yig awakens but we don't have enough items and everyone is devoured to lose!!

Darrell died on round 8 and Wendy Thompson joined, Wendy died on turn 15 and Jacqueline Fine joined, then Mandy was devoured on turn 16 and Akachi Onyele joined. 18 turns to win with 11 Elder Signs out with 9 of 10 Doom on the track!
16th Mar pseudo 4 player, AGN Carolyn Fern, Dexter Drake, TAMN Bob Jenkins, Rita Young vs Shudde M'ell. After 8 turns Rita went insane and Kate Winthrop joined. It took 27 turns to get all the Elder Signs out FTW.
24th Apr 4 player, AGN Jim Culver, TAMN Charlie Kane, CB Wilson Richards, JM William Yorick vs Glaaki. On turn 17 Wilson & William were devoured, adding 6 doom tokens and Glaaki awoke. Many Thompson & Montery Jack joined the group. After 10 rounds only AGN was left alive - we removed doom tokens, but being devoured added them leaving 10 of 10 on the board. AGN survived 3 more turns but then died & we lost!
9th Sep 2 player, TAMN Akachi Onyele, AGN Lily Chen, vs Azathoth. Lily's first turn put out 2 Doom, 2 monsters, a gate and cost her 3 sanity and 1 health! Not a good start! We failed with 5 Elder Signs out (mainly from Akachi!) when Azathoth awoke and devoured the world.
9th Sep 2 player, AGN Sister Mary, TAMN Harvey Walters, vs Shub Niggurath, turn 27 Sister Mary died and Vincent Lee joined. Turn 43, with 10 of the 12 Elder signs we needed, Shub awoke. We were defeated in the final battle, losing with 4 of 10 Doom left on the board. If TAMN had resolved her last adventure, we would've won!
16th Sept 4 player TAMN Finn Edwards, AGN Dexter Drake, LC Darrell Simmons, MC Rita Young, After 7 turns Darrell went insane and Wilson joined the group, Dexter died and Mark Harrigan joined, then on 13 Finn died after heroically donating all his gear to Mark Harrigan, and Harvey Walters joined. Doom came out quite quickly and with monsters coming out in the last 2 turns Hastur was a hard fight when he awoke with just 5 Elder Signs collected. We defeated him in 11 rounds with Mark Harrigan dying.
What passes for 'the base game' around here! :-)
12th Oct 2 player TAMN Tommy Muldoon, AGN Charlie Kane vs Abhoth. We planned to play the Grave Consequences expansion but we didn't use any of the cards! We were doing well keeping the Children of Abhoth under control with cards that removed monsters, until turn 13 when we spawned 5 monsters at once! Then it became a rush to get the Elder signs before we were overrun. We did well at co-op play to get all 11 Elder Signs out in urn 21 FTW with only 2 of 9 Doom tokens out but all 3 children and 4 turns left on the clock! A fun close game.

Love Arkham Horror board game, looking forward to trying this as a faster, more portable 2 player game.
1st Jan The Gathering, TAMN Wendy Adams, AGN Roland Banks. AGN went insane in the 7th turn, but I survived to 8 to do 8 damage to the priest and burn the house down to win!
2nd Jan - replay to get the rules right! 11 turns, we trigger the last event so the house collapses around us and we barely escape, each suffering a physical trauma.
3rd Jan - replay with FAQ. 9 turns for us to escape with Lita Chandler as an ally. Once again Wendy deals the killing blow and burns the house down, but suffers a mental trauma. 6VP ea.
18th Mar - The Midnight Masks, TAMN Wendy Adams, AGN Roland Banks, We had bad luck with a lot of Doom tokens on acolytes. 9 turns to recover 4 of the 6 cultists, game end triggered at 9 Doom on the last agenda and Midnight struck. 4VP. We made some rules errors so we reset and replayed without reading ahead.
18th Mar - The Midnight Masks, replay TAMN Wendy Adams, AGN Roland Banks, We got 6 cultists in the victory display to advance the agenda just before we added the final doom token. We were out of actions and the next Mythos phase would've advanced the agenda. Really good close game. Resolution 1)
24th Mar - The Devourer Below TAMN Wendy Adams, AGN Roland Banks, There seemed to be a lot of enemies in play! We advanced the Agenda on turns 1 and 3 and din't advance the act until turn 6. When the ritual and the Demon emerged TAMN made the choice to sacrifice Lita Chandler and run away! We each gained a disorder and 1XP.
1st Jun The gathering Pt 1 AGN Skids O'Toole, TAMN Agnes Baker, 11 turns. Bad chaos token draws and obscuring fog at locations made it very hard to get clues. Skids died but Agnes defeated the Ghoul Priest, unfortunately she also killed Lita Chandler and burnt the house to the ground!!

16th June reset & replay 12 turns for Skids to severely damage the Ghoul Priest and Agnes to finish him off. It took a long time to advance the 2nd Act, but we recruited Lita, won the scenario and left the house still standing!
27th Jun Pt 2 Midnight Masks. AGN Skids O'Toole, TAMN Agnes Baker. We got hopelessly bogged down with bad chaos draws, failed investigates, few clues and rapid progress through the agendas for the 12 bells to ring midnight after 10 turns and only the Masked Hunter defeated!
29th Jul Pt 2 Midnight Masks. AGN Skids O'Toole, TAMN Agnes Baker. 11 turns for us to resign with the Masked Hunter, Ruth Turner and Victoria Devereux. It was a hard fight, but we survived!
15th Aug Pt 3 The Devourer Below. AGN Skids O'Toole, TAMN Agnes Baker. Agnes did a great job collecting clues for us to advance the act in just 2 turns. Unfortunately the wrong event cards were drawn and we ended up with a lot of Doom in play to advance the agendas rapidly. We defeated the 3 cultists but Skids died after 4 turns and despite a heroic performance from Agnes she couldn't evade or defeat Umordhoth and we were defeated.
18th Nov Curse of the Rougarou, TAMN Wendy Adams, AGN Roland Banks (Lead), Std level, The problem with playing blind is that Roland didn't have much sanity and was driven insane on round 3 leaving Wendy alone and unable to face the Rougarou. She resolved Broadmoor and resigned to survive with 1VP and the Rougarou still haunts the bayou!
18th Nov reset & replay with Wendy as Lead. The Rougarou comes out on turn 5, Wendy collected the fishing net and engaged the Rougarou in turn 8 to advance the act, but we didn't have any of the conditions fulfilled so she was driven insane when he attacked. Roland died in the cursed swamp at the start of round 9! :-(
18th Nov reset & replay with Wendy as Lead. Beast of the Bayou came out on round 11 and we were both attacked by the Rougarou, Wendy went insane, then on 11 a second Beast of the Bayou came out and drove Roland insane. When Wendy went insane we were prepped to defeat the Rougarou that turn with all the items and clues (we thought we needed 5!) we needed to 'find another way' and Wendy had fight cards to support Roland, but Beast of the Bayou defeated us!
19th Nov reset & replay with Wendy as Lead. Despite a disastrous start we rallied and collected everything we needed for 'Find another way'. The Rougarou came out on turn 6 and Roland dynamited it on turn 8 for damage, by turn 14 we had it trapped in the fishing net, we had the strange doll, it was engaged and we had 4 clues but when we tried to 'Find Another Way' we realised we need 8 clues (4/investigator)!!! Defeated again!!
19th Nov reset & replay with Wendy as Lead. This time we got swamped by monsters! A Marsh Gug drove Roland insane in round 8 and Wendy couldn't go it alone with just the Bear Trap so she resigned!

If TAMN had been paying attention and remembered Cthulhu devours before he attacks, she could've won the round previous with 6 spells on Cthulhu!!

28th Jun 4 player, TAMN Hastur 33pt, AGN Shub Niggurath 30, JM Tsathoggua 29, CB Yog Sothoth. Best/closest game ever! CB showed a masterful use of her spells to gain power & we had to work together to hold her at bay just 2pts from triggering game end! AGN made a massive comeback but TAMN just squeaked out a victory by killing Shub Niggurath!
12th Aug, 4 player, MC Cthulhu 41, TAMN Yog Sothoth 40, AGN Shub Niggurath 35, LC Tsathoggua 27. TAMN was the first to 6 spells, but everyone caught up surprisingly fast. She was unable to force game before the others caught up and did a good job of holding back AGN (defeating Shub!) but couldn't get enough points to win against all MCs Elder Signs (8 pts)!
2nd Sept, 2 player, Omega rules TAMN Cthulhu 6 spells, 32 pts, AGN Yellow Sign 4 spells, 10 pts. Very fast game, Cthulhu won in the Doom Phase of the 5th round. Interesting changes to the dynamics and strategy of the game. Deserves replay without Cthulhu, he seems a little overpowered in such a fast, fighty game.
4nd Sept, 2 player, Omega rules TAMN Nyarlathotep, 6 spells, 30 pts, AGN Shub Niggurath 4 spells 33 pts. Another fast game. AGN ran the Doom points up but neglected to stay on top of getting spells in play and Nyarlathotep managed a sneaky win!
21st Sep 4 player, The Dreamlands, AGN Tsathoggua, TAMN Shub Niggurath, CB Yog Sothoth, JM Nyarlathotep, AGN started in the Underworld and won early in the third turn with 4 gates on citadels. He only had one spell, while CB had one, JM had two and TAMN had four!
21st Sep, 4 player, The Dreamlands, replay, with TAMN & JM at 23 Doom, CB at 20, and all with 6 spells and a GOO to AGN's 4 spells and no Tsathoggua, AGN managed to pull out a win at just 12 Doom by getting 4 gates on Underworld citadels. Good use of spells for power by CB and relocating a gate by AGN!
10th Nov 2 player, original rules, TAMN Sleeper, Opener of the Way, AGN Tch-Tcho, Black Goat, Instant Death! Tcho-Tcho had a ton of Elder Signs and 6 spells to make 34 Doom, with Black Goat's 20, that was 54. No match for the Opener's 32 Doom, 6 Spells and Sleeper's 26 Doom to make 58 FTW!

12th Nov, 2 player, Omega rules, TAMN Sleeper, AGN Black Goat, AGN did a great job of using Fertility Cult to burn through Power Points and get gates out quickly, leaving TAMN at a significant disadvantage for the later turns. AGN triggered game end by revealing Elder Signs for 30 Doom to TAMN's 19, both will 6 spells,. Good, fast game.
14th Nov, 4 Player, Library at Celaeno expansion. AGN Sleeper, JM Opener of the Way, CB Crawling Chaos, TAMN Black Goat. TAMN got off to a good start, but CB & AGN rapidly caught up and got ahead while JM lagged behind for a long time. Good use of the Librarian & Custodian to foil well-laid plans! AGN triggered game end by revealing his Elder Signs for 31 Doom, but he only had 5 Spells! CB had 27 & 5 spells, TAMN 22 Doom & 6 spells, JM 26 & 6 spells FTW!!
28th Nov Library at Celaeno expansion. AGN Opener of the Way, JM Yellow Sign, CB Slpeeper, TAMN Black Goat. TAMN did a good job with gates and power, while JM had trouble with desecration rolls but AGN made most excellent use of his library spell to accumulate Elder Signs. Triggering game end by revealing his Elder Signs during the action phase, with 4 x 3pt signs in the mix he had an easy win! 30th Nov 2 player, Omega rules, TAMN Crawling Chaos, AGN Opener of the Way, TAMN made some mistakes with moves and failed to capture cultists while AGN made good use of the ritual of annihilation to win with 6 spells and 30 Doom to TAMN's 16 Doom and 5 spells.
1st Dec 2 player, Omega rules, TAMN Crawling Chaos, AGN Tcho-Tcho. TAMN sacrificed power for spells and gates to AGN to zip around the board capturing AGN's cultists and have enough power for a ritual to get to 33 points and 6 spells to AGN's 30 power and 4 spells. One more turn and AGN would've had the game!
