Started thinking about this last time I changed jobs (and had to replace all my business cards). Recently found a deal at one of the Office Supply stores for cheap business cards. Bought some plain white cards (they only offered white with black lettering in limited formats). Then got more creative and ordered some cards with money printed on them (i.e. $1, $5, $10, etc.). Not perfect but might be handy (and again they were cheap).
And then I started thinking, "What other game components could I have made with this deal on business cards?".
Had some of the train cards (from 18AL & 18GA) printed.

What else? While I know that I can print all kinds of stickers (even in color) to paste onto the plain white cards, I am most interested in game components that can be made with plain white business cards and black lettering. There are 2 or 3 fonts available and the middle line on the card can change to a slightly bigger font size. Seems like there should be a lot of replacement part possibilities or maybe even prototype. Although another limitation is that the cards come in quantities of 250. So creating a CCG would probably not be feasible (unless one wanted to mass produce a ton of decks -- in which case it probably makes more sense to actually get real cards made by a publisher).

18AL. Trains work reasonably well (although no image is less than ideal). Also the corporation certificates are a possibility (but having to print 250 just to get 10 certificates is overkill and again no color hurts). Finally the private company certificates are a weak possibility--they look nice (no color needed and font choices actually look nice) but having to print 250 to get the one needed certificate for each private is a bit of a waste.
