2018 BGG.Con Math Trade Actual Geeklist!
-
Hello out there in BGG land!
It's the ACTUALLY THIRTEENTH OCCURRENCE of the nearly No-Limit No-Risk No-Shipping BGG.Con Math Trade! What a lucky number. What could possibly go wrong?

Go ye right now and subscribe to the Actual Discussion thread. All the good stuff happens there. Like dates and important announcements. And jokes. I don't make jokes here. Well, not too many. A couple. At least two.
DATES:
You've got until the just before Halloween to submit games, then like a week for to do your wantlists. See the Actual Discussion Thread for the real and true dates! I don't want to make typos.
Restrictions, Policy, Official Rules
Copypasta from the last few years. If you're rereading, I'll punch it up. As always, I the moderator reserve the right to break 1d6+1 of these rules. This trade is open to actual paying attendees of BGG.Con 2018. Please don't participate if you're not planning to attend. HOWEVER: If something happens and you can't make it, the onus is still on you to complete your trades. Find a proxy, or eat the shipping costs all ways. (NB: This will suck for all involved, including your humble moderator.) As always, I'm fine with full-disclosure proxies. If you don't have a badge and a wristband, don't crash the party.
I do not plan to restrict duplicates in any way. One man's thrift is another man's trade fodder; but I do ask you to be reasonable, since I've got to answer questions about duplicate protection and the "COPIES" feature.
You can list as many games as you want. Again, be reasonable since people got to scroll through the list. You are still responsible to bring all of your successful trades to Dallas, Texas. Protip: Check with your airline for luggage and weight restrictions since it sucks to be surprised at baggage check-in. (I may FedEx to the hotel or fly with mine, I don't know yet.) You must honestly and accurately list the condition and edition of your items; please please please don't just say "like the picture" unless you personally took it. Play nice and be considerate to others. When in doubt, take pictures and be insanely specific about the most inconsequential of scuffs that only appear under ultraviolet to professional CSI boardgame inspectors.
Special cases on what you can list:
No cash. There's a lovely exhibitor's hall. Bribes (to me) are still welcome.
No Gift Certificates or Gift Cards. Against the spirit of this trade.
No Geekgold, unless as a sweetener.
RPGs of all stripes are welcomed, encouraged, and hoped-for.
Your Unpublished Prototype is always welcome and actively encouraged. Think of it as a free blind playtest.
Video games and sundry accessories are allowed. (Note: I have a PS3 and a PS4.)
No garbage. To clarify: I know that we all have differing values and beliefs, and that we are all beautiful and unique snowflakes. But please don't list actual worthless things or badly damaged games. Be kind to your moderator's typing fingers. If you've got crap, try and give it away elsewhere. I cannot actually condone leaving a copy of The Ungame laying around hoping someone will take it. Be cool.
Outside the Scope of BGG: I selfishly don't want to scroll past tons of non-game stuff; but this is a no-shipping trade. You totally can list non-game items (DVDs, clothing, weed whackers, kidneys, vinyl records, large home appliances, fine art, used socks [pairs only, please], recipes, exotic beef jerkies, hot sauce, furniture, shag rugs, whatever), but you can only list one non-game item for every three real games you list. Use Outside the Scope of BGG for these things.
Kids' games: Please feel free to list any game good for kids! My kids have outgrown a few titles and I'm sure your kids have outgrown some titles also.
INTERMISSION
I will use the most recent version of TradeMaximizer unless someone invents a better way of doing things between now and then.
The use of JeffyJeff's Online Wantlist Generator is required to participate in the trade this year.
All wantlists are public.
Do not delete anything you add to this list. It is a hassle and headache for pretty much everyone- just change the item to indicate that it is no longer available for trade and/or submit a blank wantlist.
I will ask for your cell phone number. I promise not to abuse your trust. This is totally optional but strongly encouraged. Even if you're great about trades, you don't know your trade partners yet, the RNG is fickle, con crud happens, and human flakiness is infinite. PS: Don't sleep in.
I will clarify and make changes as needed. Thanks for your participation and good luck!
Q: Why did the meeple cross the road?
A: In this expansion, road-crossing is worth points equal to the number of other meeples on the road.
