This is a no-ship math trade with all delivery and pick-up to be made at the 2019 Total Con event by you or a designated proxy. The trade area is inside the con itself, where only registered attendees are allowed.
Boardgames, boardgame related items, Video Games, RPG items and non-gaming nerdy items are all permitted. There is no limit to the number of entries each person can have. NOTE: Total Con policy specifically excludes cash, gift certificates and GeekGold from the math trade.
Non-game entries must be added as "Outside the Scope of BGG", "Miscellaneous Game Merchandise" or "Miscellaneous Game Accessory" and must include the +altname+ brief description -altname- format in the description of your item to ensure they appear properly in the OLWLG.
You must describe, as accurately as possible, the condition of both the components and box, language and edition of your item and any sweeteners. You must also inventory the game's components and list anything missing and/or damaged. If you do not, the game must be complete, in like-new condition and be the most recent English edition.
We had a few issues last year with games not being described properly, please make sure you take the time to list your games accurately. If you violate this rule you will not be able to take part in any future math Trades being run at TotalCon.
Sweeteners are to be listed using the "Insert Geek Link" dropdown or you can manually insert the GAMEID using BGG formatting to have them show up in the OLWLG properly.
EDIT: If you wish to remove an item for consideration, DELETE the item. The OLWLG now handles this just fine.
If you edit your item, you must include a note stating what was changed or added.
You are required to periodically check your entries for comments and respond to them appropriately. The OLWLG will let you know if any of your items have unanswered comments.
If you have been reported as a bad trader or disregard any of the above rules, a blank want list will be submitted on your behalf.
Remember the more items in the math trade the better everyone's chances will be in making a trade!
Creating a reasonable want list is definitely the hardest part of this process and might take a few trades to practice. You are more likely to make successful trades if you can properly value your games, and ensure the games you are putting on your want list are not a higher value than what you are offering. Generally, the lower the value you would accept in trade, the more likely you will make successful trades. Spielboy.com, which uses pricing information from sales on BGG, is a great utility for gauging the value of a particular game.
It's best to work on your want list early since you can always make changes and resubmit your list anytime before the want list submission deadline.
Creating want lists is not the same as submitting them. You will receive a confirming GeekMail message when you submit your want lists (it may be truncated). If you don't get one, your want lists haven't been submitted properly.
Use of the OLWLG (On-Line Want List Generator) is required for this trade. If you have never used the OLWLG tool before, please read the wiki page. Please consider tipping JeffyJeff some for his ongoing support.

Delivery and Pick-UP
This is a no-ship trade. There will be an area set aside for delivery and pick-up of math trade items. Obviously, you will not be allowed to pick up games until you've dropped off those you are trading away.
The official trade time will be from 12 noon to 1 pm on Saturday, in the auditorium which is across the hall from the main gaming hall (it is the same spot as last year). We do not have the facilities or the security to support drop-offs and pick-ups throughout the con, so we're going to need to be fairly strict about this time period. If you cannot make this time you should arrange for a proxy to act in your stead.
If you choose to make private arrangements with another trader (in the case of a one-to-one trade, for example) that is up to you, but please let me know so that I can update my records.
I will also be posting an auction for TotalCon 33. I intentionally ended the math trade the week before the end of the auction so that if folks want they can take part in both the auction and math trade. The auction will be ending 6 days after the math trade, on Saturday February 16.
