This list is to encourage attendees to post & schedule heavier games that they would like to organize prior to arriving at the Con. Due to the nature of Open Gaming conventions, the ability to get meatier games to the table is always a challenge. Often due to the dynamic nature of the attendees, formal schedule, etc. For most Euro strategy games, pick-up sessions are quite easy at an open gaming convention. But by starting this list a few months in advance, players can start reviewing rules, assign players to specific countries/characters/etc.
This list should be used to post open games that require a larger block of time (3-5+ hours) **These are not for OFFICIAL events and games that will be listed on the Dice Tower Con Schedule .
Got a wargame or an old Avalon Hill game that you've been dying to have hit the table? How about the game of Die Macher or Mega Civilization you've always wanted to try? What about a game of Fiasco? This list is for you!
Please also use this list to coordinate informal teaching/learning games for newbies.
Organization of the Geeklist
The games are listed in ALPHABETICAL order so that you can scroll down the list and see if a game you want to play is being organized or not. If it is, you can post a comment showing your interest. If it's not, you can Add an Item and put a game on the list.
It is also usually a good idea to Subscribe to the specific games you are interested in playing, rather than the entire list. This way, you will be notified only when there is a post to the specific games you want, rather than all games and comments.
For particularly organization-heavy games in which players, roles, and other stuff must be handled prior to the con, it might be good to have several entries of a game. You can look at previous years' lists here:
Some useful information to include in game listings:
Game Title (added via the Geeklist Item) # of Players Day/Time/Location to Meet (This will likely be 'TBD' until we get closer to the Con) Expected Playing Time (Duration) Requested Experience Level of Players (i.e. "Newbie-friendly", "Experts wanted", etc.)
I encourage you to indicate a room and the meeting time. Here is a floorplan of the rooms available.
If you are willing to bring a copy of a needed game, please do! Many of the games on this list may be scarce, or not a typical title for the Con library. Obviously, older titles may require a Mule. If you are a local wargamer, or travelling by car to Orlando, supplies such as plexiglass, extra dice, dice towers, are greatly appreciated. The die-hard Grognards probably have their own tweezers.
Requesting a Game
If you aren't planning to host a specific game, but would like to help get it organized, please REPLY in the comments section your request for playing a certain game. You should have pretty good success getting someone willing to set up a game if there is enough interest for that particular title.
I've set up a Dice Tower Convention Attendees Attendees guild for you to browse other attendees' collections. Join this guild and you can request games for other folks to bring.

I have to drop out of this game. I sold too many games at the Virtual Flea Market that trucking 30 games around the con for distribution is going to be too much of a challenge, so I have to attend the VFM meetup on Saturday during the time we had scheduled to play. You guys can fill my spot or just play with five. Either way, I'll have my copy of the game for you to use.
I've contacted Brian but he now has a conflict and cannot play.
The new hotness! But does it live up to the hype? Is it worth the expense of tracking down? Who knows? My wife and I would like to demo the game to see. Ideally we'd like to find someone with a copy who wouldn't mind a quick teach. We'd be happy to conform to whatever your schedule might be.
Time: Up to you Location: TBD Duration: as long as you feel would be necessary to get a taste of the game Experience: we have none! # players teacher plus us!

Sadly Carlos can't make to Dice Tower Con this year so he asked me to host BSG, since he created the original thread, I can't edit that thread so I'm creating a new one.
If you signed up on the previous thread could you please subscribe and post on this thread with a confirmed. It would be appreciated.
Note I have all the expansions and will be utilizing content from each expansion. - Scenario will be based on players knowledge of the game.

Black Orchestra begins with each player choosing a historic figure involved in the conspiracy against Hitler. In this dark and dangerous pursuit, motivation is perhaps your greatest weapon. If you can stay true to your convictions in the face of overwhelming threat and inspire your comrades, then you will be able to use your special ability, attempt plots, and even become zealous (necessary for some extremely daring plots).
Shiver me timbers! We'll be setting sail to scour thee Caribbean and African coasts fer ships to be relieved of they cargo. Raise thee mizzen and topsails and hard-a-starboard to yonder Spanish merchantman! Who'll find the most notoriety in their nefarious deeds, I ask ye? Can ye retire with riches among the pirate haven, or will the buzzards pick yer bones while ye swing from thee gallows?

With Friends and Frenemies Expansion Willing to teach.
With Teaching will probaby take about 2 hours.
In Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Board Game, you help Buffy and her friends defend the town of Sunnydale from an onslaught of vampires and demons, while ultimately attempting to foil the big bad's plot and prevent the Hellmouth from opening. You have to work together, using all of your resources — including special abilities for the character that you play, whether Willow, Spike, or Buffy herself — to defend the helpless townies.
The expansion ramps things up with the Inititive capturing demons, which sounds good but if they capture enough demons then they can execute their plan, which will end the game, also they will try to stop any pesky scoobies that might get in their way.
