The Golden Turtleback Painted Miniatures Contest for Miniatures Painted in April 2009 *WIN GEEK GOLD!*
Week after week I see terrific hand painted game miniatures. They are very inspiring to me and I would like to hold a contest for the best of the best.
This contest is simple:
1)Add the game of the miniature you painted as an item to this list.
2)Add the picture of your painted miniature in the comment section for that game.
(use the format [imageid=xxxxxmedium] where xxxxx is the id of the picture)
That way people will be able to better judge your work. Medium should be sufficient please do not use large.
3)Feel free to share any special techniques used in the painting of the miniature(not required).
1)The image you submit must be from April 2009.
2)You are the artist. Do not submit miniatures that have been painted by someone else.
3)One entry per person. You may, however, use up to two pictures of your entry. That way you can show the front and back of the miniature(s).
The number of thumbs an item entry receives determines the winner. Vote for as many entries as you want. In case of a tie the prize will be split.
The prizes here are increased from last month due to a generous contribution! I will award:
First place: 30
Second place: 20
Third place: 10
Judging at the end of the month.
Tips to this geeklist will help support future contests.
Please give this geeklist a thumb to help get it to the front page. The more contestants the better!
And don't forget to click on the images you like and give the actual images thumbs up as well!
The images will be arranged alphabetically by the name of the game entry.
I'll start us off. Don't worry I have no chance of winning.
