The Good, the Bad, and the OLGS: Rate the Online Game Stores - Europe Edition
- Tony Ackroyd(1000rpm)United Kingdom
I got the original list of stores, the format and information from this thread by helioa:
This thread does looks like it hasn't been updated for a while so some may now not be in business (though I did a quick check and all the websites were live) and there may be some new ones. Also some of the specific information may have changed. If so please comment!
This geeklist will allow people to comment on the individual stores and will be updated as additional stores are added or closed.
If anyone objects to the game used to represent a country feel free to suggest another - its hard not to find one about war for some countries!
Please note: We try to support our local brick and mortar game stores as well. I'm not posting this to start a local vs. online debate; I thought it would be useful as most if not all of us order from an online store at some point. If you have a favorite local game store, I encourage you to write a thread about it in the regional forums, and let others know why it's the best.
Thanks for participating!
Great = Have ordered from them. Great experience. Recommended.
Good = Have ordered from them. Good experience. Likely to again.
Okay = Have orderd from them. Okay experience.
Bad - Fixed = Have ordered from them. Bad experience. Fixed. Would consider.
Bad - Not Fixed = Have ordered from them. Bad experience. Not fixed. Will not again.
Note that the old polls have now been removed for clarity - some comments on the list relate to the old polls.
There is now a results geeklist summarising the scores to date:
