We made it through a week of nominations and a week and a half of voting and the results are in... after nearly 600 overall votes... the Five Most Anticipated Economic Games of 2010.

Of all the subcategories, the Historical Games subcategory received some of the heaviest voting.

Placing 5th overall, this one wasn't even on my radar screen until it rocketed to the top of the nominations voting, actually garnering more votes in nominations than it did in final voting. I suspect the lack of an image in the poll played a large role in this.

I believe this is one of the few I will actually preorder.

Coming in at 39th overall, preorders actually arrived during the nominations/voting process (including mine) and I can say this is a fantastic reprint of the Avalon Hill classic.

Although it had numerous delays, Valley Games did a fantastic job with the reprint.

Placing 9th overall and long of print, I had second thoughts about allowing this one in the voting, as it was my intention to restrict reprints to those that had a new publisher, artwork, components or something different.
