Here is a No-Risk, No-Shipping Math Trade for those of us planning to attend Strategicon's GATEWAY 2010 over Memorial Day weekend Sept 3 - Sept 6, 2010 at the Radisson LAX Hotel Los Angeles Airport.
THE QUICK DETAILS: This is a No Shipping Cost Math Trade specifically for GATEWAY 2010 attendees. Thanks to Eric Burgess we have a drop off spot at Boardgame HQ. This way, you can drop off the games you are trading and pick up the items you expect to receive. We'll keep a list and ask you to sign off that you dropped off and picked up your trades. Games will be kept securely behind the desk but we kindly ask that everyone drops off their items by 6 PM on Saturday. That way, everyone knows they can come by then and get their stuff. Additionally, you can start dropping off games as early as noon on Friday and MUST drop everything off by Saturday at 6 PM. It would be nice if you drop off your games as soon as you get there because the person on thr recieving end of the trade is usually excited to get their (new) game. Please pick them up as soon as you can however games will be held until Sunday at noon at which time all games not picked up by you or your mule will be considered a donation to the Strategicon Library.
PLEASE don't add anything to this list unless you plan to attend the event or make arrangements for someone to drop off and pick up your games. Also please DOUBLE check and ensure the game you have listed for trade is still in your possession.
Forum Thread: please accurately describe your games condition, language, etc.
List Cap: None
Max Per User: None
Duplicates and RPGs are allowed
Sweeteners: Sweeteners are to be listed using either the GAMEID formatting (preferred, example (LeftBracket)GAMEID=8989(RightBracket) or a link to the game's page (example http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/8989). If you don't use these formats your sweeteners won't show up in the OLWLG properly. If you're only adding cash as a sweetener, you can use GAMEID=23953, which is the entry for "Outside The Scope Of BGG" and specify the amount of cash.
IF YOU'RE ADDING CASH OR GIFT CERTIFICATE AS A MAIN ITEM, please use one of these as main item ID:5985 Miscellaneous Game Accessory
23953 Outside the Scope of BGG
If you want the item to show up with a descriptive name in the OLWLG (only), see my item #15 as an example. Please keep the altname as short as possible. There are details on how to use the altname tags at: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/wiki/page/OLWLG#toc8

Why the change? See this post: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/article/3154739#3154739
After the deadline for submitting items to the Trade GeekList is past, I will post an official summary of item numbers & names. It will look something like this:
1001-ASTAR ==> "Atlantic Star" (from ekh_86)
1002-MORISI ==> "Morisi" (from ekh_86)
1003-KACHI ==> "Ka-Ching! " (from ekh_86)
1004-CIVWAR ==> "Civil War, the" (from ekh_86)
1005-SWE1COTL ==> "Star Wars: Episode 1 - Clash of the Lightsabers" (from Aldie)
1006-SLIDE5 ==> "Slide 5" (from Aldie)
1007-MONOP ==> "Monopoly" (from Aldie)
1008-TROUBLE ==> "Trouble" (from Sheylon)
1009-HUNGRY ==> "Hungry Hungry Hippos" (from Sheylon)

use the OLWLG to submit your want lists, you don't need to worry about the format. The OLWLG submits your list in the proper format.
DUPLICATE PROTECTION: You must format your Want Lists differently in order to enable Duplicate Protection. There are instructions on how to do that here:
Or you can use the OLWLG, which makes it fairly painless. An illustrated guide is at:
