[RESULTS] Most Anticipated Games of 2011 - ECONOMIC
After a 3 week nomination period, and a 2 week voting period the results are in.Recommend
As is the nature of such lists, this year's list contains three of last year's five most anticipated: Vinhos (formerly Vinicola), Mayfair's re-release of Automobile (which I had hoped would be out last Summer), and Empires: Builder Expansion (which has had some notable setbacks in getting to print).
The top two spots were completely dominated by Z-Man's Troyes and Vinhos. However a mere 4 votes separated London, Empires: Builder Expansion and Urban Sprawl for the 3rd-4th spots (the latter two were tied for 4th).
Additionally, another five games were within 15 votes of making the list. Of the games not making the list I'm intrigued by The Castles of Burgundy, Belfort, Olympus, the unnamed Wallenstein expansion and Souvlaki Wars.
The latter looks like a prime opportunity to combine a Greek themed dinner with a game.
And, without further ado here are the 11 Most Anticipated Economic Games of 2011 as determined in this most unofficial, informal and unscientific experiment.
