I played a tournament game with Jason for CCA. Here's a session report written by Jason.

Session Report: 24/09/2011
Cannae
Romans (Kim) 7 : Carthaginians (Jason) 4

A textbook battle to start with both lines inching toward each other. The Romans sent light infantry units into the front unsupported to try and entice the Carthaginians to break their lines, without success. The first full combat took place in the centre, with the Lions capturing four flags to none, including a skillful slingshot hitting Roman General Paillus in the eye in the midst of his accompanying medium infantry.

The tide turned with a Roman Clash of Shields card, resulting in four flags to the Romans followed by another the following turn, with weakened Carthaginian light infantry and auxilia fleeing the frontline. Hasdrubal led a flanking skirmish on the lone General Varro and a weakened Roman auxilia unit on the left flank in a desperate last ditch attempt to reduce the deficit, but Mars was smiling on the Romans as eight dice yielded no hits for the Carthagininans and left the weakened centre to be picked off by last remaining Roman General, Atilius, and his vangaurd.

A closer game than the score would have you believe.
