From publisher blurb:
This game is exactly what it’s billed as. A combination of all the major gaming systems – World of Darkness, Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer Fantasy and Warhammer 40k, with a dash of PDQ, all mashed together into a glorious gaming system that is the pen and paper gaming equivalent of heroin.
You choose your race from – Human, Aasimar, Tiefling, Eldarin, Dark Eldarin, Elf, Ork, Dragonborn, Squat, Halfling, Tau and Gnome. Then you chose your exaltation from – Vampire, Werewolf, Atlantean, Paragon, Chosen, Promethean or Demonhost. Then your class from – Fighter, Magic-User, Rogue, Cleric, Peasant, Mercenary, Ratcatcher, Scholar, Initiate, Bard, Assassin, Guardsman, Paladin or Barbarian. So many combinations. So many!
Between feats, assets, backgrounds, magic schools and fighting styles you can make pretty much any character you want. The system is flexible beyond belief as making someone who uses social skills, combat, magic, anything you like to solve the problems of the world. I rolled up my Black Orc as a Paragon Orc Fighter and my Sorceress as a Dark Eldarin Vampire Magic User.
The system is full of holes that you’ll need to house rule around but it’s quite manageable. And awesome. I think this game really is using the coolest part of all of the systems. I very much want to run a game in it. Sigil sits at the middle of the Warp surrounded by Crystal Spheres. The Modron march seeks to exterminate all life to satisfy their dark gods. Vampires are those who have drank the blood of Khaine. Not Cain, Khaine. Beautiful, beautiful, nerdy madness.
