This game was published in a periodical issue. There is no distinct RPG Item for the game. The database currently does not have the functionality to link the periodical article presenting the game directly to this RPG entry; thus, the RPG entry remains with the periodical. The periodical, issue, author, and other salient details may be noted here in the description; interested users should refer to the periodical issue and article (if available) for complete details.
If the game is released in some other format in the future, it can be listed as an RPG Item.
GeneriTOON was written by Robert "Doc" Cross and published in Alarums & Excursions. The game borrows heavily from Tooniversal Tour Guide to present what is intended to be "a simple, generic system...to make gaming as easy as possible". The system is intended to be flexible enough to support any genre of gaming. Some aspects of the rules also are borrowed from other systems - for example, the list of available Skills is noted as being equivalent to the Skills found in GURPS (3rd Edition) (however, Skills do not mechanically work the same way in the two systems).
