From the introduction:
This cabin is ours. This place is ours. And we are together. But this is the last time these things will be true.
We are a queer group of friends, newly graduated, who’ve decided to celebrate by taking one final trip together before we go our separate ways. One of us owns a cabin—or rather, their family owns a cabin—out in the woods, in the middle of nowhere. It’s not as lonely or boring as it might sound, because we’ve always gone together. We’ve been there more than once, and we’re going one last time.
We love this place. It’s our place.
