Space Gamer/Fantasy Gamer was originally published by Diverse Talents Incorporated (issues 77-82) as a follow-on to The VIP of Gaming, and the continuation of both Space Gamer and Fantasy Gamer.
World Wide Wargames (3W) published issues 83-85 before changing the name back to Space Gamer for issues 86-87 (Vol. 2, Nos. 1-2 in their numbering system).
Future Combat Simulations changed the name back to Space Gamer/Fantasy Gamer, starting (and ending) with issue 88.
Better Games (Rahm and Hilmer) eventually acquired the name, and published "Volume 2" in 9 issues over several years; they changed the format to a game per issue. They have since gone to an electronic subscription site for online games based upon the games in their print run.
