i have a 4s and an ipad air, and so far i've only played using the Air because ive heard from others that the app crashes often on the 4s.

Iphone 4S: When I got the base set and tried to play it, the app crashed every time I tried to do an attack. I was discouraged but then I updated my IOS to the latest version. From then on (about 4 games so far) everything has worked with no crashes or issues. I'm hopeful it will stay that way.

edit: One thing I forgot to mention: I have not tried building an army using the app. I have only tried playing the pre-built scenarios.

I'm using a Galaxy Note 3 with one of these Samsung Adapters to a PC monitor.

Highly recommended if you've got a monitor with HDMI IN.

Does anyone know if (and I know how lame a tablet this is) this works with the Verizon Elipsis 7. Of course, you can't manually update the tablet to Android 4.3 though...

Hey guys, I just got a nexus 7 tablet, and am trying to run golem arcana app. I don't get past the harebrained schemes page before it shuts down and says Unfortunately golem arcana has stopped working. Any one know what I can do to get this to work?

I have android 4.4.2 (updated 10 minutes ago) and bluetooth on

I have a Nexus 7 and it runs fine without a problem. Two things to try...

Clear the application data. Settings>Apps>Golem Arcana>Clear Data (I'd probably Clear Cache while I'm here).

Turn Bluetooth off. Let the app handle turning it on (it'll prompt, just allow it to turn it on).

Try it again.

According to the specs found here, the tablet has Bluetooth 3. You need Bluetooth 4 to connect to the stylus.

I've been trying to use my iPhone 4s. Unfortunately, it crashed almost instantly every time. Then they released a patch and I played 3/4 of a game before it crashed.

Sadly, I'm shelving this game until I upgrade my IOS platform.

I have it on good authority that HBS is currently working on another iOS patch to deal specifically with the iphone 4s issue once and for all *knocks on wood and crosses fingers*

Not going to happen (as much as I'd like it to... 3 Fire HDX's in my house). The Kindle Fire uses a modified version of Android 4.0. Android didn't support the Bluetooth LE specification until 4.3. I'm not even sure the Fire has Bluetooth LE or if it's an older version of Bluetooth.

Maybe next gens, then. Unrelated to this thread, but we are finding that the trusty Kindle, once so enjoyable, just doesn't stack up to the competition anymore. This is another check in the "never again" box. Too bad.
