For the Classic Novel Microgame Contest, we've been working on a 24-card set collection and hand management game inspired by Treasure Island. Each player manages a small hand (only three cards!), trying to build sets for the prizes currently on the beach. At the start of each round, one prize is dug up, potentially bumping one of the older prizes off the beach to be lost at sea. You’ll need at least two players, but the game can go up to four.

Would be grateful if anyone could give feedback on the one page of rules and maybe even give the PnP files a go.

Designing a microgame means I finally found a use for my microtable:

By accident, those colored index cards gave just enough information about your opponents' hands (and the top card in the buried treasure pile) to add the right amount of strategery to keep the players on their toes.
