I'm heading out on a vacation to attend a wedding in two weeks. I will be stopping in Springfield MO. and Wichita KS. I will probably also be stopping briefly in Joplin MO on the way from point A point B. So, any good stores that deserve to be visited? I know that there used to be a game/book store in Joplin, but I'm not sure if it's still there.

Thanks for the help.

I recommend checking out Matthew Gray's Game Store Database at:

I've got the route search in place on the new database as well, but the form/interface to do it isn't there yet. So, for now, you can just do this:

http://gamestoredb.com/?addra=springfield,+mo&addrb=wichita,...

Or, feel free to replace the parts of the URL with your actual start/stop points. Further, you'll probably want to zoom the map out a bit, as it current starts centerd (and fairly zoomed) on the midpoint of the route.

When will you be in Springfield? Metagames (the best store in town, I think) is having a big boardgaming to-do on the 23rd--there's an entry fee (it's a charity event), but it looks like Big Fun, with lots of stuff going on.

Redundancy redacted, and removed
