Hey guys,

Just finished listening to #12. Another great show. Here's a couple of comments on the sound quality with the new microphones.

d10-1 The prerecorded intros to the segments were a lot lower in volume that the "live" dialoge.

d10-2 Also, the live dialoge sounded a little "echoey", kind of like you were in an empty room.

I'm enjoying the show, guys; keep up the good work!

Hey Todd.

Thanks for the feedback on the audio quality. It is very helpful and I know it will help us improve the show.

Regarding the intros, I realized half way through the editing process that the pre-recorded segment intros needed to be re-done with the new mics. D'oh! There wasn't enough time to re-record them and still meet our release schedule on Monday. Next episode, we'll have that problem licked.

You're also spot on about the empty room echoey voice quality. The new mics are picking up much more ambient sound than we realized. The room we record in hasn't been a problem before, but we're hoping to try a different location in my house to see if we can lessen the effect. That, or we'll have to install a real padded cel to record in!

Thanks for listening!

Regards,

Stephen
