10 games that left your collection that you'd like back. (e.g. Bohnanza Duel that was lost in your move).

i kind of already did this as a 'ramble' video (i.e. the montly video series i do for paid backers). so it would lessen the value that subscribers get if i recreated it publicly

The Dice Tower has a ton of top tens. Maybe you can "borrow" some ideas from there.

I’d like to propose a Top10 serious board games as for example “this war of mine”, “raid on taihoku” or “holding on”.

Also see ludology episode 201 for further reference and inspiration.

Thanks!

In memory of James Mathe perhaps a top 10 video that would put a game he published at number 1.

Maybe "Top 10 Chaining Games".
Examples:
#1 Energy Empire
Oh My Goods (perhaps)

hehe, since i've been accused of copying him in the past, prob best not to invite comparison

that's a tough one because i tend to forget the negative and remember the positive from past play experiences...

Well before too long i'll be revisiting my top10 worker placement games, and i can certainly see something like that happening...

Hiya! My suggestion is for your top 10 most meaningful games. What brought this to mind is The Grizzled, and how it evokes some of the relentless dread and stress of war. It's a great game, but it can't really be called "fun." It's "real." It has a deeper meaning to it.

I'm also reminded of Monopoly, which was originally designed to show how unfettered capitalism inevitably leads to enormous disparities in wealth.

So, what are the top ten games for making people think or feel deeply, or games that put us in someone else's shoes? So many games are about imagination and fantasy, which is great, but are there good games that deal with human reality in a really meaningful way?

EDIT: Another candidate might be CO2: Second Chance.

How about:

"Top 10 expansive expansions", that is: Expansions that significantly change the base game. Not just "more cards with variations that weren't present in the base game", but more like "this expansion is practically a new games worth of content and variation".

Perhaps ranked in order of "delta", the magnitude of the change introduced by the expansion.

"Getting sacked" for Last Will is perhaps one example. "Tuscany" for Viticulture is another where the game changes significantly. "Ladies of Troyes" adds very much too. The "Golem" expansion for Alchemists is also very expansive, or so I've heard.

I'm not sure we're at 10 games yet (at least, not 10 that my wife and i would enjoy playing)

It's a good topic, but tbh i don't pay enough attention to expansions i think to be thorough enough

Nice! Thank you!
BTW, what's the interval to update your top 10s?
