All reality is a game. Physics at its most fundamental, the very fabric of our universe, results directly from the interaction of certain fairly simple rules, and chance... (Iain Banks)

Billabong Boardgamers was founded in 1997 and has been holding regular game nights ever since. Presently we meet every Tuesday night from 7pm, at Amaroo Neighbourhood Centre (Google Map), 34 Amaroo Street, Chadstone. Amaroo Neighbourhood Centre is on the corner of Amaroo St and Bolwarra St, and the entrance is from the small carpark on Bolwarra St.

New people are always welcome. We mostly play new Eurogames, with a smattering of older titles and very occasionally games of other types. Feel free to bring any games you would like to play, but no one has to bring games! There will be plenty of options available, and there is always someone who is happy to teach.

We usually play several games each night, and typically finish around 10.30pm. If you don't drive and are worried about transport, please get in touch - if it is possible we are happy to help.

If you want to find out more, or get in touch before you come (or simply want to say hello) - please contact one of us:

I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory.

"Amaroo" is quite close to the #624 bus. This bus connects Oakleigh Railway Station (via a convoluted route) to Kew, passing Chadsone and Caulfield. Sadly, the last service passes at around 9.20pm

The next best option is the #623 bus (Mt Waverley to St.Kilda), but once again final service is shortly after 9pm.

The closest railway station is Holmesglen, approximately 1km on foot. The last train departs for Flinders St at 11.55pm. The last train towards Glen Waverley is at 12.30am
