Once more into the breach.

The dymanic really changed with six players. Right off the bat Ken was spun up as the Evil Empire. After a couple of turns of quick expansion, Drew laid into Ken, wiping half his territories off of Africa. Steve quietly expanded into oil-rich North America (2 6s, 2 7s, 2 8s, a 9 and 2 blanks) while Jason claimed Australia and squabbled with Courtney in southern Asia. Ken changed the game by dropping a nuke on North America right before turning terrorist. Courtney played her hand as Ken's financial backer, littering the rest of the world with Vanguards before upgrading them all to Columns via the Insurgenbcy card. The next couple of turns were odd. Steve nuked North America again to get rid of the terrorists, cleaned up the fallout and re-claimed the terriitory. I followed with a massive war effort to clean my few vorthwhile areas and moving the rest through the now serpentine Terrorist Netowrk to Asia. The game really seemed to stagnate for a bit as terrorists keps popping up and then got beat back down. But there was a lot of note-passing and negotiation going on. Near the end Jason turned terrorist after watching his settlements in Africa get nuked off the map. Not long after that Steve reclaimed the last of North America and built three more cities to win the game.

With this play we saw the real role of the terrorist player. It is nigh-impossible for a terrorist player to win the game alone. His role is pressuring the rest of the board, driving empires to terrorism to hopefully add to his numbers.
