I have finally completed my third part of my custom quest Rise of Orthanc. This follows an RPG game that I run, now using The One Ring system over on http://www.dicefellowship.org

It follows, mostly, the adventures of my Player Characters as Saurman rises to power after getting his hands on The One Ring. They are fighting to keep the north safe from his gathering orc and bandit alliance headed up by a mysterious figure known as The Grey Boar.

Part I and Part II can be found in my profile links, and both are now part of the current version of OCTGN (thanks GheckoTH). I'm working with him to get Part III added to it now as well.

Below are PDF sheets you can print and cut and use.

You can also find OCTGN and sheets in my Drop Box.

I welcome feed back from any of my question. Heck I'd like to know anyone even played them! Thanks all.

I've just have a quick look at your cards, and no offense, but you should work on the proper wording. For starters, a reference to a Trait should be both Bold and Italitc. Cards with shadow effects should not have flavor text as it looks exactly like shadow text and invokes confusion. And "quotes from the flavor text" should be put in quotation marks, while the entire flavor text should be of lower text size than card text itself.

Huh, you know I never noticed that a reference to a trait in the card text had them bold and italics. I'll have to amend things going forward.

As for flavor text, I don't believe players of the game are so easily confused and can sort out a bit of flavor text if there is a shadow effect. As for its size, I've simply used GeckoTH's excellent templates so I believe it to be the right quality and size.

As for "" marks, please notice cards such as Thalin, or Gloin, or Eowyn, those cards, which don't have speech in them, do not use "" marks in their flavor text. So I have repeated that trend.

I appreciate the technical feed back. Unfortunately I just do this as a little side, and don't have the resources for proof readers and play testers beyond my small group. I hope any editing mistakes are overlooked with a bit of courtesy.

Curious more if anyone actually played any of the three scenarios and if so how they like them.
