There's Dr. No's, but they're up in Marietta, I believe. Nice-sized store with a moderate selection of boardgames.

Internet shopping killed most of the games stores in ATL. Not too many places in ATL still have boardgames on the shelf. The WarRoom (very far from you in Duluth) Titan's comics has a few. There's a game store up in Marietta- Dr No's.

Best place is to hook up with some gamers in the area. There are still several people who sell games that attend these groups.

See you there,

Steve Avery

I'd wondered what happened to you since you gave up Baseball.

Tee hee. The last bastion of AT games has "meeple" in the group name--the most Euro of Eurogame playing pieces.

Ayep. Sadly, you are almost certainly in the Internet ordering realm now in south Atlanta.

The only big plus is that if you order from Boulder Games, (which is perhaps an hour and a half from you) it shows up the next day. There is this little extra state tax that gets dumped on top of the order, however.
Shipping such a short distance does come out ever so slightly cheaper.

The War Room probably still has the best stock in the Metro area. But you are looking at 1-1.5 hours from where you are. And they only have a couple of full shelves of games.

But don't be fooled by the radio, the TV, or the magazines. They'll show you photographs of how your life should be but they're just someone else's fantasies.

I am sorry to say that the War Room is getting ride of its stock of board games. It orders a few new games here and there but for the most part the selection is very poor.
