Hello all,

I've been scouring everything on BGG and other internet sources and am coming up dry. I'm looking to organize the contents of the 6th edition box along with some extra purchased counter sheets, the old school counters, and the 4 GEV style maps into one usable thing. Any ideas? I have tried a small file box but it was very ugly, also I have tried plano boxes but they drive me NUTS because the dividers always come out (same problem with LEGO).

P.S. I love this game and my 4yo son has been having a blast making his own games and "scenarios" for Ogre. The board overlays help a lot!

A store like Michaels will have what they often call "scrapbooking boxes". These are plastic lidded boxes about 14" square, and 3" tall. You can fit multiple map sections and baggies in them easily. You may need two, but they're cheap (four to ten dollars each).

(yeah, I know, that last one has pink accents. Perfect for the ARF faction though )

TL;DR: here's a pic of my counter storage:

Many, many more pics, some of them showing various bits of storage equipment, are in my ever-growing Ogre photo album:

It is. The good news is that you don't need every baggie to play a game. A dozen baggies will support half a dozen players.

(Some tupperware is needed to store the Ogres safely.)

Thank you for all of the replies!

One of my thoughts (based on the scrapbooking box idea) was to put some kind of cardboard extension inside the Ogre box so that it is taller and thus be able to accommodate all of the boards. After that, the ogres and such maybe can fit in baggies floating around the box, hopefully not being crushed by the maps.

Did I mention that I love this game? I'm so freaking glad it was reprinted. Now if only we could get the pocket GEV I would never have to buy another board game (I have several copies of pocket ogre).

P.S. This is the same problem I was having with Formula D and all of the map expansions! I ended up getting rid of most of them.
