Page & Plant plus an Egyptian Orchestra - Kashmir
Just as an aside: A while back I was watching a Led Zeppelin cover band for a couple of songs in a small club. Then slowly people with orchestral instruments began filtering in and setting up near the stage. I figured it had something to do with the next group playing. Then the band broke into Kashmir with the mini-orchestra accompanying them. It was awesome! Then they played The Rain Song together....Then the orchestral musicians packed up and left and the band played on. It was really, really cool.
As grey traces of dawn tinge the eastern sky, the three travellers, men of Willowdale, emerge from the forest's shadow. Fording the river, they turn south, journeying into the dark and forbidding lands of The Necromancer...
The original version by Genesis was quite popular when I was in high school, but I think that Disturbed did it better (unlike their cover of Sound of Silence, which I don't appreciate).
