This comic still seemed very fitting for a lot of board game spending resolutions right now.

(Spoilered for cuss words.)

Mouseover reads: "It's not an addiction, it's a hobby."

I can't agree with this comic. That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works!

You mean people might be hedging their bets on New Year's resolutions?

Is it a sign of increased honesty, or a recognition that withdrawal might be hard?

Is my purchase adding to a collection, or expressing my addiction?

Am I moving toward a better spending pattern, or just listing how I will buy more games next year?

Is the only thing worse than a qualified resolution, no attempt at all?

Too many questions. Perhaps I'll buy a new game to feel better.

Oh... I think that is pretty accurate. Even when we are happy
about the games we played there will be always something new
that comes along that will be worth supporting and/or buying.

Though I do agree that with the amount of stuff out there, being
more selective is a Good Thing and reduces clutter, but I am of
the opinion, as the old saying goes: Never say never. ^__^

...of course once you decide to take the plunge you have to think
about the size of the game box too... so to quote Star Trek:
"Space... the final frontier!" -_^
