Hey everybody,

I've decided to start working on a 3d printed insert for DinoGenics.

For those that have played a few times, are there any things you think would improve setup or play?

Thanks!

I just uploaded: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3415228. I figured that being able to reuse the existing insert and have pots that can easily be taken out would speed things up.

Nice work! That is actually not far off from the original insert design. Unfortunately, because of the molding process the factory couldn't do the detailed compartments without having manufacturing costs go through the roof.

That looks great! Well done!

I'm almost done with mine. I went the from-scratch route, so it's taking me a bit longer, but its coming out ok. I'll post it here when it's uploaded (probably next week by the time it's done printing).

I finally finished and printed my insert design! (took longer than expected due to a finicky blue plastic)

Here's mine:

Feedback welcome!

Beautiful!!! I love what you made. Do you think there's any way you could get all the dinos into a tray together, to make it easy to remove from the box and get access to?

I also gotta say, the storage for the workers is perfect. Nice job.

Like one big box for all the dinos? It's possible. I mainly didn't because I have a smaller print bed, so I designed around smaller boxes.
