The best ones are probably Leisure Games in Finchley, and the game shop right next to the British Museum (I forget the name), make sure you go downstairs at the second one!

[url]http://www.boardgamegeek.com/wiki/page/UK_faq[url], and look up the entries on London. Storeswise, I presume Leisure games will be closed to you. Groupwise I don't really know, but if you're willing to travel to Central, there's at least two groups in the area (London On Board and Swiggers).

Orcs Nest (Soho I think) is OK. Leisure games is good but it's a bit out-of-the-way.

Didn't know there was one near the British museum though..

(..Google...)

Here ya go:

If I had a pound for every time I have typed this...

Leisure Games has an unmatched selection. If they don't have it, it is probably OOP. Hours of browsing possible.

Playin' Games (Museum St, opposite the Museum) has a good selection, and yes, do go downstairs or you will be disappointed.

Orc's Nest is more Fantasy/RPG oriented, but upstairs they have a small selection of Euros and wargames.

You could just type:

or even:

Definitely an improved Return on Investment...
