When stacking dice at a door or window during haunt #3, must the stack be tipped through that door or window? Or can it be tipped, for example, sideways into a different, indirectly connected room that may or may not have an open window/door on that face?

The rules specify where to place the stack and that it should be tipped, but not which direction it has to be tipped, nor whether the door or window it's placed at has any further relevance regarding how to tip the stack.

This caused a huge argument. Thematic accuracy prevailed (tip only through window/door it's placed at) but would appreciate an official clarification.

Tip however you like! Tipping only through doorways makes the haunt much harder on the traitor. We intended for the traitor to be able to tip in any direction.
